Default also in the market for a WRX

hi guys,

i'm in the market for a 2011 WRX 5 door in silver metallic. today i called different dealerships in NY area to see what's available and at what prices. seems like the choices are limited right now. when i would tell the sales reps that i'm looking to pay somewhere around invoice price with a single check they would reply that financing is more attractive to them. nobody was willing to let a car go about $200 over invoice. am i being realistic asking $200 over invoice for a WRX?

Did you talk to Corey at Ramsey? I think they may have a hatch in stock and they're very fair on pricing

i don't see a 5 door at ramsey, all i see are 2 sedans... http://ramseysubaru.net/vehicle/inve...e+results.y=20

but you can still talk to cory or josh and see what they can do for you.

try other dealers too. dan, rick and clayton in liberty (emerson). chris or ray in wayne.

well to fill you in with a little information....there is currently NO WRX's in the state of New Jersey...not 4 door bases, premium's nor ltd's..the same is true for the 5 door. good luck.

Subaru has always been on the slower side of producing vehicles.....this being said, with the whole earthquake/tsunami/nuclear disaster that japan faced a few months ago they are holding true on sticker....at least thats how it is here in Ca. $200 over invoice is a more than fair offer any other time, however now dealerships can afford to be strict on price. to make you feel better, your not getting ripped off buying at sticker.....don't believe me??? go to kbb.com and book out a 2010 wrx with 15 thousand miles...

I am considering selling my 2011 Limited. Check out the classifieds if you are interested. I am only selling because I am not doing well without a truck and I am thinking I need to get back in one. Only 2400 miles on it now....
