Default Installs partially done... I think I am impressed

Last weekend I attempted to install the follwoing on my 02 WRX:

*VF39
*DW 565cc injectors
*Walbro pump
*STI intercooler
*Samco after MAF hose
*Forge Recirc BOV

Due to some unfortunate events, I only completed the IC, BOV, & MAF hose. It really seems to pull noticeably harder with just these. Really wierd because I didn't expect much of a butt dyno result before the turbo/injecotrs install. I also came across a leak in the Y pipe connection to the IC from the stock. No clue how long that was loose. I wonder if that leak was robbing me of performance?

Anyways, hopefully I have the time and courage to take a second stab at the turbo/injector install this weekend. I was going to wimp out and pay someone, but I need to just go do it. Can't wait to go from Cobb stage 2 to protuned VF39!

Yes that was likely a problem; now the car is running almost like it should.

It feels like how I remember my old bugeye stage 2 felt, maybe better. This one never quite felt like the old one, but thought it was just in my head....
