yes. there's always the option of 05-07 sti wheels.

5zigen FN01R 17x8 +25mm, would these fit on 08+ STi?

yes but it's nowhere near an ideal offset. you're looking at a lot of mods to fit those without rubbing.

Try and avoid spacers.

When you get to a realistic offset (like 40-55), you may find someone who has used the specific rim you are interested in and they may know if it will clear the calipers. Don't hesitate to call the wheel seller or manufacturer and ask if they will clear the Brembos. Some have drawings you can print out and cut out that will show you clearly, in a visual manner, how the wheel will fit.

A 17x8+25 would fit very easily, just not the right fit and you are going down from what is stock.

Short answer is don't do it.
