WTB: (Want to Buy) Subaru WRX STi w/under 75k miles-- $16k cash in hand!!!

Fredericksburg, VA- willing to drive if it's not a crazy distance

As the title states I have $16,000 cash in hand (maybe a small amount more) and I've been looking for an 04-05 Subaru WRX STi with less than 75k miles. I would prefer it not swapped or built and must be clean title; I prefer stock but a few mods are fine. Car must be clean and in reliable, working condition. Color preferance is white, silver, blue, then black but color is not a huge deal. Please pm or post if you're interested, Thanks!

and my parents are paying 1/3 and they're specific on what i can get since my other cars weren't reliable. it might be a long shot but pm me if im close to anyone's price!

None of those threads helped me. I'm not being lazy I religiously search this forum, iwsti, vadriven, my own hondatech, autotrader, and craigslist every day.

The first 2 threads you showed me have over 70k miles which is what I stated I don't want. The second is above my price range but I had already emailed him anyways. so don't call me lazy when you are clearly sending me threads I have read through countless times to see that they are not what I want.

Under 70k miles for the body style you're looking for is going to carry a (stupid, imo) premium.

Average yearly mileage for Subarus is something like 15k. Do that math.

Bouchon's car is a great deal and exactly what you're looking for with a handful more miles on it. Highly recommended. Plus his accent is cool

Nah, I don't think he would have too much trouble finding an STi under 60k in that price range.

alright well thanks for giving me ideas guys i do appreciate it. i would take any of those in a heartbeat but my parents are nagging me to find a specific vehicle in a specific criteria since they're helping me out 1/3 of the price. i'll keep looking.

that's why im looking for low(er) mileage STi's.. took me a long ass time to save up this money so i want one and im willing to wait for the perfect one to come along.

i thought that STis were fairly reliable vehicles am i wrong? i dont know a whole lot about them yet-- ive driven an accord, an integra ls, and an integra gsr my whole life so im used to that

Yeah, if you were the original owner. It's a different story when the first 70k miles of life were a crapshoot. I just know a couple of people that got burned, that's all.
