Maybe and no. Hoodscoop vibration? They're so integrated, though! I always thought I'd see my 2005 STI hood scoop shake, but it never did. The wing did, though, but I never minded.

How loud is an AC compressor usually? Like, recently it got LOUDER? I hardly use the AC, only when sensitive (un-emo) people ride with me. Heat sensitive people that don't want their hair getting messed up from the sunroof and windows being open.

It hasn't gotten any louder, but it is significatly louder than my 2011 civic si was. It's like a loud buzzing sound, you can hear it pretty good with the windows down. I don't usually use the AC too much either, I like the windows down. Sometimes though I throw on the AC with the windows down just to cool it off a bit on those real humid days.

It's the plastic insert in the hood scoop im talking about, it doesn't shake all the time, just when the wind hits it at odd angles. I'm 6'1" so I can see the top lip of the insert flapping lol.

hahaha Oh okay! Yeah, I'm barely 5' 8" and my seat is all the way down so I'll never notice the insert vibration.

Yeah, the AC compressor has always been loud on Subarus in my experience, just not sure what else to compare it to, though.

Stuck in some led sticks by ledglow. They are very nice and bright compared to the lame oem Subaru ones. Wanted some cheap footwell lights and these ones are awesome! I know people will hate but come on... Subaru makes an interior footwell kit too

Nice! Party in YOUR car! I like that rear passengers get lights, too. That'd be so sick!

Is that shing02 I hear? Or just Asian porno music?

It sounds like Asian pronz music to me, but I don't see any tentacle monsters anywhere!

Hahah yeah the song is by a korean hiphop group called Epik High. Yes it sure is a party in my car now. I think it's a much better alternative to the Subaru footwell kit that costs $36 and hardly lights anything up.

https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...oducts_id=1493

With these ones you can toggle between 15 different modes including having it flash with music, or stay as a solid color when you don't want a seizure while driving haha.

Lights look good xabre! I just went stage II today with an Invidia catless downpipe. The change is incredible. Plus with Cobb's SF intake the engine and exhaust sound sick. I also ordered a Perrin mid and y-pipe to mate with my nameless axleback. Should be here in a week or so. I also picked up a Perrin gauge pod that sits on top of the steering column, that should be going in this week sometime

I'll answer that for him...YES!!! All I felt from stage one was more acceleration in the low rpm range. Just a dp n going stage 2 makes a huge difference when in boost. a custom tune helps too

Yea incredible from stage I. The difference is insane. I highly recommend doing cobb's sf intake, and a turbo back exhaust. I'm taking my car to the dyno next week so I will drop some numbers as soon as i find out. You definitely will NOT be disappointed!

I'm getting ready to buy both maps from Eric soon. Lots of love about his maps from the people that have used them.

Default Aftermarket Exhaust

All you hatchback guys:

What's a good exhaust that isn't loud, but has efficient flow? Loud compared to Invidia (too loud), but better than SPT (more than just sound)? Something like Magnaflow? Nameless too loud?

Sounds like my buddy might have to combine different setups. His 02 WRX had Skunk2 high flow with catless Meghan DP, described as throaty and not pitchy. He liked that.

I heard the Nameless on a hatch and at idle sounded stock. Sounds really nice @ WOT.

Thanks. I've only heard it on a sedan. Does this clip do it justice?

the thing I wonder about nameless is that on the sedan its pretty much just pipes so wouldn't it sound almost the same to just take the muffler off? I also don't like that it just has two tips split from one pipe, at least oem has 4 pipes coming from the muffler(s)

Not really because of all of the ambient noise. The rumble that does come through is right on the money tho.
