This unit makes allot more sense because it take less energy to open and has metal assembly which is more durable.
So when does the exhaust see a vacuum? Or is it more of a pressure differential thing?
My EGBP sensor seems to always be at or above atmospheric

I think the idea is to weld the vent line into the exhaust pipe at an angle, so that a bit of vacuum is created right at the fitting.

That said, I wonder how crankcase pressure compares to EGBP. Worst case, I suspect that CC pressure would just increase until it reaches or exceeds EGBP and then the valve opens and stuff flows in the right direction.

they switched foundries so i'd expect another long wait for them to get some housings made and tested.

i think they shot their internet advertising campaign load about a year too early

What would be the wait time for a gtx turbo kit? I've got some inside news from Full Race but have been asked not to say anything over the net It still might be worth it at this point to wait for the EFR kit.

Everyone knows about their turbine housing producer did a poor job so housings were cracking. That set FR back alot with trying to find another worthy shop to produce them. I wouldn't blame FR for that, it's just unfortunate for all their customers. We would have been seing TS EFR's roaming around by now.

PS, like I said on the other site, our builds are VERY similar except my heads aren't ported. I've been here in Germany without my car for 14 months now so I don't feel bad for you lol I should be driving mine by Oct 1st...getting it shipped here Nurburgring...HERE I COME!!

I never really asked, but your last dyno pull looked good.
What made you decide to switch?

You know how some people just love to change ****? Lol. That is the op. That's why he is a great customer to have.

Plus he also wanted more torque and a bigger v8 feel. these cams with his turbo are going to make the car very punchy with good gas mileage and excellent driveability. When Cobb releases their speed density the car will even pass emissions because it'll be back on the factory ecu... He'll have cruise control too.

I sort of just followed along, but after that retune, I couldn't really think of someone wanting more except for maybe peak power. I guess he's going in the opposite direction, although i still have to think that the retune looked pretty damn good to me. The only thing I'd want at that point would be a slightly smaller a/r with the 35r. It sucks that there really is only one A/R in t4.

Sounds good, but that was a lot of work for something that I already thought looked very streetable, at least from the dyno pull.

I am kinda guilty of this too. Dom I wonder if you remember our first conversation about what engine to build. It's kinda funny how the final design is so much closer to that then the 2.6 motor was.

Even scarier how close it is to Barigas build. We're pretty much 90% identical
