What have you "lifted" you car (1" front and 1.25" rear) with and what car is it? And forgive my memory, but what is HDPE again?

You really don't need to space down the drive line until you get over 2" of lift. The axles will be able to handle the added angle just fine, but once you lift more than 2" you should start considering the subframe spacers (engine mounts, tranny x-member, rear diff hanger, etc. etc. and so on...

I think it's high density polyeurethane (HDPE, that is).
