Thats not a bad lineup for being auto-picked...

Nate Washington for Santonio Holmes fair enough for a trade? Similar fantasy points last year, and questionable QB situation. I think Washington will do atleast 150 FF points for the year with Hasselback behind him, but he's worthless to me because he shares the same BYE as Jackson and Fitzy, so I can't use him all year and I'd never start him ahead of Maclin unless Maclin goes down.

That's a hell of a team in a 12 man league even if you were drafting yourself. How in the hell did you end up with McCoy, Foster, and DMC? In a snake draft that had to mean that McCoy ended up falling to 24. If that's the case, can I get in on your league next year?

Holmes put up 52/746/6 in 12 games last year. Washington put up 42/687/6 in 16 games last year. Maybe I'm too high on Holmes, but I would laugh that trade off.

I should explain that the scoring in our league isn't standard ... most guys pick QBs very early because QB scoring is really high. It's not uncommon for a QB to score 70-100pts per week with the scoring system in place. Most of the first round is QB drafting. I was actually most worried that I was going to get stuck with a low scoring QB and blow the whole year ... I was really happy to get Schaub

I think the only RBs who got drafted in the 1st round were the 4 autodrafted teams

It's a ****ed up league ... I only stay in it because it's so different than all of the other ones. Makes you play a lot differently. Keeps you on your toes

Edit:

That's the scoring ... you're whole team can tank, but if your QB has a crazy good week, you can still keep it interesting.
Eg. a 41 yrd passing TD is worth 18 points ... hah

Just because the QBs are the highest point earners doesn't mean they should be drafted immediately. Same reason you see elite 2B and C get drafted early in baseball drafts. They're always going to be outproduced by 2nd or 3rd tier OFs, but positional scarcity is a hell of a thing.

What kind of scoring set up is that? Even with 6pt TD's and a +1 for completions 70-100 points is pushing it.

Weird scoring systems always throw me off. I was in a league last year that has +1 for rushing attempts. I had multiple weeks where Turner and Mendenhall both got me 60+ points. In this same league David Garrard scored more points than Peyton Manning.

Similar-ish numbers, but Washington has a completely new QB that actually can throw the ball and not cry the whole time. In preseason Washington seemd to be Hasselbacks favorite receiver, that's why I predict him to have a better year than last year. Let's just hope my tradee bites (PS - I'd probably laugh it off too but I would never have picked Holmes in the first place).

That guy would be crazy to make that trade with you. Hasselback is old and injury prone while Washington is still the #2 receiver in town. Holmes has more talent, has a relatively better QB and is the #1 WR in NYJ right now. Additionally, you have to take into consideration that Holmes also missed the first four games of 2010 because of a suspension, so his previous year numbers aren't as high as they probably should be.

Good point, forgot the suspension which makes a dent. Hmmpf.

I'm dropping Barber for Maurice Morris (#2RB @ Detroit) because it seems like he may get more opportunities than Barber. Isn't Taylor the #2 back in CHI?

Also trying to get Lance Moore for Austin collie. Both are good but Moore did more for me last year than Collie, though really they were neck and neck.
Taylor is the dedicated 3rd down runner. Barber is only expected to play in dual back formations. Being the biggest on the Bears, he might see an occasional goal line snap... But that assumes the Cutler can get them into the Red Zone.

I like Collie over Moore. NOLA WRs are like cockroaches; where there's one, there's a thousand. He won't get red zone targets with Clark back but his YAC avg makes him worth it. Garcon has also looked piss-poor all preseason too.

Flacco or Freeman? Who is your starter?

Also predictions on sidney rice...I know Jackson is a ****ty QB, but he has history with rice. I'm hoping he can still pull in 80+yds a game with a few TDs here and there.

Mentioned this in our league thread.

Planning to offer up DeSean Jackson, Reggie Bush, and Brandon Jacobs for Calvin Johnson. What say the FF experts, lopsided on one side?

Freeman is a better QB than Flacco. Just about every site will have him ranked 75ish and Flacco 90ish. TB has DET week 1.

Jordan: 3 starting spots for one WR? You're high.

I would normally say there would be no way in hell I'd give up CJ for those 3. But, the team you're trading with is real weak at RB so you might have a shot. I don't think Jacobs or Bush would be much of an upgrade over his starting RB's but it would give him some much needed depth. I wouldn't do it, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did.

I have MJD and Steven Jackson as my starting RB's. Those RB's are on my bench, so I would be losing my RB depth at most.

That's even crazier then. MJD's medical condition is pretty much unknown. Even when he's healthy he's pretty good at ****ing over fantasy owners. On top of that S Jackson is old for the entire league let alone the RB spot. You're risking too much by giving up all your depth before the season kicks off. Plus you're putting yourself in a bad spot when RB bye weeks hit. Offer up Bush & Djax, if he needs a RB he'll likely take it. Keep Jacobs.

Ever since last season when people thought I got MJD for too little and I had to revoke the whole trade (I was the commish); Ive been trying to make sure I dont make that mistake again. It explains why I overdue trades now on my part.

I offered up DJax and Bush.
