So how did you actually go about installing the spoiler so that it came out looking even and lined up nicely on the trunk lid? As I said above, I haven't gotten around to installing mine, but one thing that always concerned me was that I would screw up the positioning.

If you measure your trunk, then go on Ebay and search for "M3 lip xx", where xx is the length you need, you'll find a number of places that list them. Painted, unpainted, "carbon fiber look" (horrendously fake looking), etc.

Ill have to measure it but I thought maybe the shape of the trunk lid would be so different that it wouldnt work. The GD trunk has 2 bends on the top of the trunk lid. I guess Id have to make sure that the 3m tape I use would be strong enough to contour those bends.

or maybe consider just putting the spoiler btw the two bends? im not sure, maybe you could crop/edit a picture of the car w/ different lengths.

but the ebay seller i posted in the beginning will make you any length and the spoiler is a semi-firm rubber material, so it can bend and curve however you like without any extra effort for keeping it bowed

Ahhh, yeah, I didn't think of those 2 character lines in the trunk. I would think the 3M tape would be fine there, but the spoiler might look a little funny because the ends will angle up the way the trunk does. Only one way to find out.

all you gotta do is measure it and order. they make the length you specify and paint code.

The 02-07 trunk lid is not the same shape as the 08+. On the 02-07 at the outer edges it goes up. The piece will not bend enough to fit right and it may look a little goofy.

yes, that price includes paint!

these are very bendy, so yes, if you wanted it the entire length of the trunk, it will work, however, i think i would make the spoiler just the length of the lower part, not the lifted edges

Paint had a little extra silver flake in it, but hardly noticable and it also may be because i just waxed my car over the weekend. Will see how it stands up. For 49 shipped painted etc, its a steal.

I like the little extra angle to it. I assume you got it off Ebay, and if so, how did you find that style rather than the more vertical style?
