Default WRX fatality in Phoenix a few weeks ago

Just hoping this was no one on here. The car was a silver 2002 WRX with gold wheels and a dual gauge pod. Didn't see what else was on it. New Mexico plates.

Sucks, but they did say that they were likely students from out of state. So highly unlikely it was someone in AZ.

Because of the location and the out of state plates, they probably were UTI students. When I lived down near the school I saw a lot of them nearly kill themselves.

The first article does say they were more than likely UTI students.

Hey wahts up man, long time noe see.

UTI kids wreck a car while drunk, inevitable. I was at a party where a UTI student pulled a shotgun on my friend, fortunately, there were cops walking around int he complex from another call.

This was back when the campus was over off of grand ave.

When I was at the subaru store in avondale, when class got out, it was a disaster as far as traffic. imagine every kid in a school with what they think is a fast car and an ego all leaving at once, it was like F&F premier everyday.

Flock found out who it was: http://truestreetcars.com/forums/off...n-marquez.html

Dude was somewhat involved with the ABQ-DSM group, had a 2nd gen Eclipse GS-T.

RIP, hope someone learns from your potential poor choices that night...

I didn't know them - my friend at work had told me about the accident and went to the funeral (technically, it's his brothers nephew) - still very sad to see someone so young go that way.
