Anyways, can I buy 2 pre-sale tickets (one for myself and another for a friend) and give them the second ticket? I bought one and it has my name on it. My name will be on the second ticket as well and they ask for ID at the door? Will this be a problem?
tonight at 12 midnight. and yes, you can buy 2 pre sale tickets and use one for your friend. If you plan on attending separately, I would suggest buying each ticket separately (two separate transactions), that way u can have two print out tickets instead of one. And in regards to the name on the ticket, just explain your situation at the gate and it will be fine.

Question

Do we enter through main gate or is there a specially designated gate for this event?

I received this email about an hour ago:

Don't forget:
- Print your ticket!!
- You will enter Pomona Fairplex from gate 17.
- Bring cash!! Lots of parts will be on sale by Subiefest Vendors.
- If your ticket doesn't include event admission (IE it just says autox or car show), you still need to buy a ticket!
- The gates open at 9am!
- Please read the FAQ: http://www.subiefest.com/faq

If you are part of the AutoX, Skid Pad, or Car Show PLEASE check the related sections on the Subiefest website for updates on schedules and requirements. ALL have changed recently.

See you at Subiefest!!

Thanks,
Robert Champion

Just got back to SD. Awesome time!!! First time I couldn't find my car in a parking lot, so many Subies!!!

First time on a skidpad, it is HARD to get it loose, damn AWD at least the STI's can dial in the DCCD to the rear. Next year could we get a dirt event?

I won the Deatschwerks fuel pump yay!

Had a great time today. Big thank you to those responsible for putting it on. I feel like I didn't really see much of the event as I was at the auto-x for the better part of the day. Got it some many runs, I think I did 8 fun runs on top of the 4 timed runs and 2 practice runs before that. I even switched cars with a friend for a few of the fun runs. Had a blast today. Thanks again!

Good event great autox and skid pads, yummy food, but needed at least 2 or 3 more food trucks and way way way more drink vendors/water vendor.

I have a friend who works at teh sales and event coordination at fairplex, next time you wanna do it there lmk and ill hook subiefest up with this guy. good friend over 18 years and would get us the 1/4mile track if we wanted and the carnival food vendors as well.

Hey everything! Just want to update real quick. Thanks to everyone that made it out, to all the vendors and all the staff and volunteers. Im sure we'll have an official post release soon.

Just a note, we understand the food, drink, and beer situation. We had setup everything with the Fairplex and it was contracted that there was supposed to be more food, alot more drinks available, and an actual beer station. Alot of this was not provided by Fairplex even though we set it up to be so. During the event, we were actively trying to reach the fairplex to solve these issues and unfortunately, it was too little too late on Fairplex's part. We are going to be speaking with Fairplex to discuss this matter. Our apologies as we weren't expecting this. It wasn't a lack of planning/organization, but rather something out of our control that we couldn't forsee.

We still hope that everyone still had a great time and are excited to see whats in store for next year!

Thanks again everyone!

i think next subiefest, there should be more of an emphasis on the community and community interaction. maybe having the vendors integrated into the parking area instead of squeezing them all together into a separate section.

having the foot traffic flow through the rows of cars in the parking lot would've been great bc it would've made community interaction easier and at the same time, people had spent a lot of time detailing their cars only to be filed away like sardines in the parking lot never to be noticed again. also, the constant foot traffic would prevent some of the ghost town vendor booths that i noticed yesterday.

besides, the parking lot was a car show in itself and a handful of cars there put most of the cars in the real car show to shame.

my $0.02.

That sounds like a good idea. I had such a hard time finding my car haha.

Of course, there's always something to complain about or point out but the event was pretty cool. I liked the raffle ( minus the wait time and that everyone could put tix in even after the "deadline" time) and the Hooligan water event. Would you EVER consider doing a night time Subiefest?

Besides the few hiccups that have already been mentioned....I think the event was a huge success.

Thanks to organizers, volunteers, vendors, and photogs. See ya'll next year.
