Replacing my clutch in the cold. I didn't like the 6 pucks which I put a week ago so I'm changing them right now. Drop transmission, put it back in in 4 hrs. I think I just set the record.

Just picked up my stock wheels from Mt. Baker Powder Coating

Had them coated Dark Navy Blue (Crappy iPhone pictures doesn't do them justice, the picture makes them look brighter than what they really are. The bottom right looks almost correct).

Ported, polished and coated td04 with 2k miles on it came in today! Cant wait to see how much bottom end will improve.

And for "mr soul" the worst picture in the world of the Rota Gravels, will have to get better ones when the sun is out.

There is a place in Vancouver WA (that I'm having trouble remembering the name of) that sells aftermarket OEM stuff. I had them check a new front bumper for my 09' and I coulda swore they said like $75, unpainted.

Now I just need to try and remember the name...

I don't personally know of the quality of their parts, but they seem fine when I see them in the warehouse. I know alot of repair shops use their stuff.

Although, looking at your picture closer, a good bodyshop guy could probably fix that without replacing anything.

i can buff off the surface scratches but if you look close at the top the big black mark scraped all the way to plastic. plus i know i have little dents on my bumper and it drives me nuts. Im so anal I even vacuumed my mud flaps when i vacuumed my carpet yesterday

Understood. I'm just saying things like that can be repaired very well.

I used to have a ZX2 that I accident put into a few concrete barriers, sideways, at speed. The front bumper cover had about a 30mph scrape along it from the barrier. Shop I took it too fixed it, without replacing the bumper cover and you couldn't tell anything had happened.

I could show you a picture if you like, I was supprised they weren't going to replace the cover, then I could tell why after the work was done.

why is it BS? modified headlights are illegal. Yellow ones specifically are blinding.

on topic, found out a wine barrel is about the biggest item you can fit into a WRX wagon and still shut the hatch.

Traded cars with the wife today, since I have today off from work, so I could install the door speakers that I got for her 2011 Forester. Find that I have a text from her when I finally got up (around 9:30) that stated that she almost got hit head on by someone not paying attention when turning left onto our street. Me not being fully awake yet only registered the "hit head on" part of the text and almost craped myself.

Had to reread the text to see the "almost" at the beginning of her message.

But I did get the speakers installed and it sound 100 times better.
