i will probaly go for one of my 69 coded setups. they are all available in PA. the only one that is actually taken is 69. its registered to a guy with a square mufflered chevrolet and the funny thing ism it is a 66 model year car. wtf.

I don't remember if it was spelled exactly like that, but someone in VA does have it, and it is a WRX or STI. Looked it up at work one night for the fun of it.

Been looking at plates because I'm buying a 2012 black 5 door sti in the nest couple months. These are both tempting.

I am entirely amazed that "STI" is available in IL. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that vanity plates cost $9021883721 there. Maybe it's because everybody assumed it would be taken. Either way, I'm sure it won't be now that you alerted the biggest Subaru forum in the world that it's available.

only checked the whitesox plates. There can be more than 1 "STI" in illinois as long as its a different plate. Notice the vertically aligned WS on the plate, that would be different for the other bazillion custom plates. Not too worried

IL allows duplicate plate numbers on different plate styles? I did not know that.

I figure they have to. NINJA is available in the white sox plate. 'nuff said. If no one has ever used that before I'd be absolutely floored. Fact of the matter is you really don't see all too many custom's on the road in IL.
