Here's an idea, how about all of you shut the **** up. If you don't like something said, simply ignore it. When a post is ignored there will be no follow up. Consequently, there will be no bickering over a completely rational accusation that hurt your poor feelings.

Now....can we please get this thread back on topic before it gets shut up down due to constant kiddy drama.

In the military here...

Going into work this morning and pulled up to the gate to have my ID checked.

Gate Guard: Nice car sir, what is it?
Me: It's a WRX
Gate Guard: That's cool. A WRX what?
Me: I'm running late for work, may I have my ID please.

I'm not trolling I think more people would agree that the person was simply asking a honest question. And who are you to tell me to leave this thread.

Not the funniest thing ive ever heard but made me laugh as i have recently traded in my obs for a wrx.... The first day home I get this....

I pulled in to my driveway and a few guys I work with come out from under the barn where they are working and stand looking at me confused. I get out and ask them what's up...

Rick- where'd he go?
Me- who?
Rick- Steve. ( another guy I work with who owns an excavation business and is always driving a dump truck)
Me- I don't know I have t seen him
Rick- well I swear I just heard him pull in
Me- nope that was me....
Rick- damn that thing growls
Me - they like to call that the boxer rumble in the world of subaru but thanks

Side note I'm completely stock

Seriously though. Anyone who's had an opportunity to ride in said car has been left smiling for the rest of the day. It's THAT awesome.

Punch the gas in pretty much any gear (lets not get retarded with 5th @ 20MPH) and it will punch you back.

It's so loud with the Aeromotive pump, straight pipe, no sound deadening, radiator fans, etc.

Its quite a different experience.

But he's correct. You were being a douche.

As many other people have said, just because you have a WRX/STI doesn't mean you're all high and mighty and need to look down on anyone who doesn't know what it is.

They're not super common cars, it's very easy for someone to not know what one is.

Don't act like a jackass if someone asks you what it is.

Oh that's funny. I don't recall saying I was all high and mighty? Oh, how could I forget, you were right there next to me so you know, right? Who said I looked down on him or was being a jackass? All I did was ask for my ID back so I could get to work

You can gtfo out too

EDIT: But we're long passed this issue...next time you post, feel free to leave a comment regarding the topic.

I was at the tire place a while ago and an older guy walks around my car, looks at me, looks at my car, then says to me: "I give up. What the hell is that thing?"

"Its a Subaru."
"THATS A SUBARU?"
