Yeah ill use the garage plus a little bit of heat. Thanks for the tips.

Wow... Not yet? I guess this what happens when you offshore the production.

I'm sure there was an american shop interested in your item.

I may make the most noise but in the end im right. Granted yes they may have a big order to make, and i understand that. However, were paying customers just like everyone else. We should have just as much priority as the customers entering the shop personally. We were told this should ship out in 4-6, weeks. Fine, we waited 4-6 weeks. Now were on to almost 3 months. Sure patience works, and if he had originally stated that this may take over 3 months to receive my product, than I would be more patient. And im glad to hear that money seems to grow on trees for you, but it doesnt for me. So for my $136 dollars, I want my product in the time told, or my money back..I wont just "b out of $136".

I do strongly believe that the Vendor placed all orders necessary and this is quite possibly beyond their control. However, I do think that this could be approached by the vendor differently....My .02

Alright. I think we need to step back a bit and put things into perspective with some fact, rather than just sit back and allow you to exaggerate yourself into a situation of panic here. I truly intend no disrespect or level of confrontation here, but something needs to be said. Otherwise, it just sounds like you enjoy blowing the situation out of proportion.

How would you approach the situation differently if you had 40 people waiting for an item and the manufacturer is taking a little bit longer than initially anticipated? Would you post the exact same update every single day for each person subscribed to the post to have a sense of false hope ignite within them only to find that oh... it's just the same member asking for the same update? Do you really feel that's a reasonable approach? Nobody is walking away with your $136. You, as well as everyone else on this thread, will receive their spoilers when they get here and no amount of daily bumping will make a single difference as to when you receive yours.

The mass order for these items was placed on December 06, 2011. That's 8 weeks, or 2 months. Not 3 months. There was an entire month of the taking orders and keeping the group buy open. So you have not been waiting for 3 months.

Yes, you've been waiting beyond the initially estimated 4-6 week window, but things happen that cause delays, and being in the distribution position that we are in limits what we're able to do to expedite things. We've already planned to ship out everyone's order via priority mail, so that should help ease the waiting time a little bit.

I'm having a very difficult time grasping how you feel that you're receiving any less priority than a walk-in customer at our shop. You do understand that these spoilers are being manufactured overseas and that we're still waiting for them to arrive, correct?

I'd strongly encourage that you come to grips with the situation and understand that we are not sitting on these items. They are on order and should be arriving shortly, this has been the case for the last couple of weeks and I've tried to explain it to you in as many different ways as I can. We're not scam artists. You can feel free to call, email, pm or even stop by. The story won't change and you will have your spoiler shortly.

Don't get me wrong, we appreciate your participation in this group buy and value your business just as much as the next client, but when you take things to a point of exaggerated wait times and question our integrity, the line gets drawn.

^ It's refreshing to read a post from someone who sees the situation for what it is. I'm certain that over 95% of the people on the list understand this and are patiently waiting. We've done business with this manufacturer before and nobody will lose any money, it was just unforeseen delays, and we apologize for that.

I appreciate the vote of confidence. We're VERY close.

My initial impression on the group buy was that these are custom made and color right?

Makes sense that this is taking a while to get done.

I don't view anything being blown out of proportion, none of your customers set your dead line.

In the future you should pad your wait time if you are going to expect something to be made and shipped to you from overseas, there are too many variables in the supply chain. This being said your customers should understand that as a possible delay without question. Ultimately, it is your responsible as the vendor to insure prompt delivery of a product promised by you to your customer.

You are absolutely correct the perception of wait time is unreasonable if the customer is counting off time from the date they sent their payment. Although the ad doesn't mention that you will be placing a bulk order at the end of the group buy, it is commonly known this is the practice.

Wow, you posted that? Meeting the deadline you created is your credibility and integrity; offshoring your production was your choice not that of your customers.

I'm really looking forward to seeing these on some cars. Keep trying, and learn from your mistakes.

If you've waited for 2 or 3 months for your spoiler, then another 2 or 3 weeks isn't long at all.

What is all this deadline talk?? Vim gave an estimated time frame of 4-6 weeks... Key word "estimated"...

Sit back, relax, and they'll be here soon enough...

And if it is taking too long for you ask for your money back...and don't join any more custom group buys on nasioc since they are almost always delayed... My custom wheels were delayed around 2 months after waiting for 3 ... Just don't be that guy expecting the group buy price when they finally arrive...

Vim is an awesome seller and I have no worries about this production... Especially after watching his dedication to the custom diffuser he produced, I have no doubts about these... Patience children, patience!!

This got way out of proportion. Im just going to say this... Vim in no way am I blaming you or your company for anything. My previous post can easily be taken out of context, however I was not gearing anything towards you. My post was meant for Mr.Tech, explaining why I was feeling the way I was and responding to his post of me being "the one who makes the most noise".

Im sorry for stirring the pot and making noise. I just like to be on top of things. Call it OCD, call it annoying...Im not trying to cause problems between anyone or make anyone angry, although I may be too late for that...So ill just end it here and ill remain waiting for my roof spoiler.

Louie - You could not be more correct. I absolutely agree with you. None of the customers set a deadline, but neither did we. We did, however, set an expected date. Believe it or not, that was a 'padded' date So imagine our frustration while we wait here with open arms for the shipment to arrive. And common practice is bulk ordering on these group buys, just like you said. We posted here on the very date that the bulk order was placed to keep everyone in the loop and informed. The off-shore production bit of it is the only reason why these are able to be as affordable as they are. We went through months of testing prototypes until we settled on one that met our expectations for fitment and quality. So don't expect anything to be lacking in the end product. We've done our due diligence in processing them as expected and I've already committed to getting them out the very next day from when they arrive. I know that doesn't sound too difficult, but when you have to assemble 40 boxes, pack them and label them, it takes hours.

Stikshift- I apologize for coming off defensive. To reiterate, I meant no disrespect at all and was just trying to explain the position that we're in. I was interested only to see how you would have handled this differently. Aside from setting an even more padded wait time, I think we've done everything we can to keep everyone informed and up to date.

Let's Spool- I appreciate the vote of confidence and I also empathize with every single person on this list. We're not the type of people that are 'okay' with keeping people waiting, but you already know that.

Ok guys.. I've been waiting just like everyone else.. But, it also got me thinking... I don't mind waiting for a deal, as long as I don't see this item on ebay for anyless than $134 (painted) shipped. Than I'll be piss!!! Since it's NOT being made in the U.S., which most likely means, somewhere in asia (china/hk? ). If that's the case, it WILL be copied & sold on ebay! SMH

FWIW, We own the rights to the design. This was worked out with the manufacturer. However, the risk of someone making a copy remains. But of course, quality would certainly would be questionable at that point.

I received word earlier today that these should be shipping out and headed to our direction sometime next week. It's not an exact date, but at least a window! I'm anticipating their arrival shortly!

Hey there folks.

The shipment has not arrived yet. I'm sending another message to the manufacturer today to find out how long it will be. Based on our last communication, we expected it end of last week or yesterday at the latest. I'll find out how much longer it will be.

Sorry for the hold up folks.

In the meantime, PLEASE PM us your updated shipping addresses if they differ from the information in paypal. Thanks!
