Default overheating issue!

heres the breakdown i have an 02 wrx wagon with 94k miles

i did waterpump t stat timing belt 6k ago

driving home from work one day i noticed the temp rising, after that it will rise once car is warmed up and temp can only be brought down by reving engine past 3k rpm anything under that and temp rises, my coolant level stays about the same, if anything it rises

so far i did a compression test on the coolant system- it passed

i also did the chemical test to test for exhaust gases- passed

i also have poor heat barely gets warm

it sounds like head gaskets but it passed the tests, ive tried a new tstat for giggle but no luck, any chance it could still be head gaskets
