Nick from Yonkers (Impreza914) just bought 99subi's beautiful bugeye wagon... for $3,500. Talk about a fuggin steal!! The kid bought it like 2 or 3 years ago for $15k!

It needs a trans I believe though. NO EDM headlights, no yellow fogs, no gram light 57s, so the wagon is not as gorgeous as we remember it.

and im having an unknown issue with the car

im taking off the downpipe and intake this weekend and bringing it back to stock settings so I can bring it to subaru... everytime i start it a white puff of smoke comes out the exhaust (i think its coolant, my oil has been pretty steady) and the car has a horrible hesitation between 2k-3k rpms

so im hoping it isn't a blown head gasket... but does anyone know the "mod friendly" dealerships around. the car will be in it's stock form but I don't want to have trouble with the fact thats its been flashed multiple times... i really cant afford a $4k head gasket replacement

no reason a head gasket replacement should cost you $4k. There's a good shop I know that's about 1/2 that here in Orange County that I'd trust to do the work.

well since the car is theoretically still under warranty im hoping I can get a subaru dealer to look at and diagnose the problem, and hopefully fix it at no charge. im not even sure that is in fact a head gasket issue... any subaru shops that have done work on your cars after having an AP (obviously unistalled before I take it there)?
