You will get more bang for your buck if you get Hookers. Had to.

Unequal length headers if you wanna keep your boxer rumble. Everyone's going to have a different opinion based on their pesonnal views. Suggest reading over this:

stay away from inexpensive ebay headers, megan ect. id go with perrin, hks, gt-spec would be lowest end considered. ive been through a few sets and cheap metal cracks fast. personally id like to see some custom big tube header similar in design of the stock one so there isnt a 4 tube collector. but (3) 2 tube collectors instead

What other mods have you done? Are there other mods you haven't done yet that have more power potential for the dollar versus headers? Perrin EL, which are supposed to be some of the best, only provide gains of 10whp/20wtq on a "stage 2" 2.0L for over well over $800.

It's stage 2 with bigger top mount and intake and tbe. But I decided to go with a bigger turbo and injectors and a fuel pump but when I do get headers they will be Perrin EL.

my buddy has a megan exhaust mani for his evo....cracked within a month. old lady has a megan dp on her evo. that's the next item on the list to be swapped out.

on another note i've got cusco headers. abso-****ing-lutely love them. sound perfect to me. not a big perrin fan boy. i know there are a lot of perrin poster children running around though. i'ld say cusco or full-race. depends on how much cash you have to thrown down as well.

I had some megans on my 240sx SR20DET. I was a poor college kid and wanted some shine. They ended up cracking several times until I finally got sick of tig'n them back together and made custom gussets and bassically wrapped some sheet metal and welded the pipes together and to the flange. They never cracked again.

Fullrace or factory Jdm equal lengths with a custom Uppipe..... I've had Meganracing headers and they are garbage. Leaked at the heads with factory gaskets from day one then cracked 4 weeks later. Also had gtspec uel, they were ok but after one summer of abuse they cracked at the collector before the Uppipe

Well first im on the AK forum because I will be moving to fairbanks soon. And, I guess I will let the cat out of the bag. I have heard a lot of good things about these guys products. The stuff is cheaper because they are not a mainstream brand. It looks like good quality stuff. I have never used their products but plan to in the future. you should check them out. Their headers look awesome.
