Got some window tint put on, 50% on front doors, 18% on the rear doors and 5% on the hatch

lol why get tint in a state where its illegal?...more trouble than its worth

although i think in NY even my car's pathetic amount of tint is illegal

Because during the summer we get 20+ hours of sunlight and in the winter it's mostly dark and most people drive vehicles taller than my WRX or have crappy HIDs that shine into my big, night-blinded face.

*knock on wood* Pulled over once, posted about it. APD was really nice. I don't even know what I have, wife got it for me while in FL for my birthday. I think its 20% all around.

Could be worse...I got a ticket last year for 35% on my front windows. NH is one of the only states in the country where it's illegal to tint your drivers side and passenger windows.

it's illegal n jersey too. i actually got pulled over last night just for tint, he let me go though.

Illegal in RI too, I think most states have laws against it except for the southern, more sunny states.

That's ridiculous. WA is 35% all-around for cars, 35% up front and any % in back for SUVs, vans, etc and it's cloudy/rainy here all the time. I have 20% all-around and haven't had any problems.

The law is like 70% most all around, but they let you get away with making the rears super dark if you leave the front windows alone. HOWEVER, if your vehicle comes with tints "from the factory", then it's okay to have whatever. This is why SUVs and vans get away with it, because apparently people that drive those are less of a threat...

Missouri and IL are similar. Missouri is 35% in fronts and any in rear and back for any type of automobile. I believe IL is 35% all around.
