I met Will back in 2005, the first year I started autoxing. He introduced me to all the people in subaru autox community in the South East I know today. He spent a bunch of events codriving with me in my car, helping me to wrench, sourcing parts, and encouraging me to go to events. There was no event too far to drive back and forth in one day (even if it meant convincing me to go to highlands night series events in the summer from Blacksburg, VA). I had the opportunity to drive with him, John, Steven and Jane back in 2005 at my first solo nationals. And if someone was being stubborn or retarded I will always remember his *sigh*.

He was always a bit crazy (aren't we all?), but had an absolute heart of gold. He'd do anything for anyone - especially if it involved subaru's. And he always stuck with something until the very bitter end, and never gave up (aka "I found out a way to put more castor in your RS. .. it'll make it fastAR!!!"). I can't fault him for any of that. Just an all around good dude.

RIP WJM.
