Not going to help in a rollover.

He has no cage. All that is doing is keeping him in his seat so the roof can come right down onto his head.

Yeah, same thing with stock seats/seatbelts. By your argument, every car should have rollcages

And with his suspension/wheel setup he'd have to be doing some pretty wild driving to get that thing to rollover

A stock seatbelt doesn't hold your shoulders rigid like a 4/5/6 point harness does.

There is plenty of reading to be done on improper harness. Go read a bit.

I care, on the flip side, I don't drive like as idiot. This is my DD, stock belts for driving to work or when the wife drives. I appreciate the heads up.

You're being much more reasonable than most people in this thread on this issue.

There is a maximum angle that the shoulder belts can go to. Its something like 15 degrees. This is what a harness bar fixes. It mounts them in line with your shoulders so you don't compress your back, break your color bone, etc.

However, in the event of a rollover, the harness will hold you in place and if the roof happens to collapse it can be very dangerous, as the stock belts allow more movement in those directions.

Thanks for looking at the thread!! The fronts are rolled/pulled, rears are rolled/pinched. A slight SLIGHT pull in the rear front the rolling.
