I second that. Stock is 1 7/8" and i personally think 2.5" is pushing it. 2.25" seems perfect

so i found a nice stock looking muffler...but it was on crack compared to what it seemed like in the sellers pictures...

considering its size compared to a large oil collector and snowboarding boot

ive got an spt exhaust on my 05 lgt. i did this because i didnt want can mufflers. it was a little pricy i paid around 1k. i think it looks awesome and sounds good, louder than i thought it would be. very nice quality no problems. if i were to do it agian i would look for an exhaust that didnt taper down for stock dp since i had 3inch dp i had to have a different flange welded on the midpipe.

I may be getting one of these put on for a test. If it's not as loud as the Apexi Noir, I may just get it:

Note, my current exhaust system is set up to take WRX/STI catbacks.

I've got a 2.5" cat-back exhaust, with a magnaflow (same style as stock) tip. It's tucked up much tighter then stock for extra ground clearance
