Stock hangers and been on for 10,000 miles with not even a hint of melted bumper as well. Tons of people running the q300 where I live on the sedan and with no complaints.
I think sedans just have more insulation between your ears and the exhaust. What dp do you have?

Until you drive with the rear seat down....holy drone, batman. The trunklid rattles don't help the cause :P

I'm on the stock down pipe until Sunday. I will be putting on the invidia catted. It won't change the sound hardly at all. I've been in a couple 11 sedans with the q300 and it sounded the same to me. I did a camping trip with the car loaded down roof rack and all, had to have the seats down for almost 5 hrs straight. Did drone just a tad. I very rarely have the seats down though. I have done it just for the sound too though, lol makes me feel faster!

Don't remember my trunk rattling. Like I said though, I hardly ever have the seat down. Maybe I just forgot that it did, I might test it out today. Got my door panel to stop rattling today, removed the white plastic box from both front doors. Even threw in some new speakers while I was in there, made a difference with the clarity of the sound and got rid of the excessive bass from the stocks.

Celery, I agree with you.
My borla hasn't melted anything yet. I've done 1 track event on stock hangers.

I have RAAM mat in my trunk and deck lid, this might be why I don't hear an amplified droan that others complain about. If you take the trunk liner out you will see that the C pillars are open and end at the pressure baffles that sit RIGHT next to the mufflers behind the bumper fascia. I really suspect if you can close these hollows you will have less resonation in the cab.

1) Sold the orange wheels last night -- decided I am just going to go with a black 17x8 RPF1. The slightly lower offset from stock is what I really like, plus they are light weight and I can utilize my factory WRX tires since they're still really good. I don't think it will look too bad with a slight drop. I'll probably order them tonight.

2) Yesterday I did a stupid thing. I backed into my garage and somehow didn't pull the parking brake or leave it in gear. I closed the garage door and went inside for a bit. When I came back out, the first thing I did open the garage door since it was pitch black in there... definitely didn't realize that my car had rolled forward up against the door. One of the door hinges took some of the paint off where my front license plate should be. Really sucks because the front bumper was just repainted in December after the deer incident!

3) On another (happier) note, I'm excited to make the trip back to Green Bay soon so I can pick up my Honda Ruckus. I'm pretty sure the Suby will just sit in the garage most of the summer after that!

Just seen this in the 2012 accessories. SPT vortex generator, says it's available the 1st quarter of 2012. I don't know how I feel about it but a may purchase it to see how it looks on the car.

Yeah, I can't figure out how they are beneficial to a car. You find these on the leading third of a wing...not on the aft of it.

Dp install went awesome! Still doesn't drone to me. The torque increase is nice and it makes the q300 sound like a beast at wot, not too much louder cruising to be noticeable. Drove on the highway for 45 minutes with seats down and had no trunk rattles. I've taken the cover off on the lid though when I wrapped the trunk trim with di noc. Maybe I just attached it better then it was originally? I think the hatch drone has to do with the shape of the hatch and the fact it only usually has one muffler? Not sure though.

The DRL are also the high beams, right?

same bulbs in my Civic Si (not a very good pic) but this is high beams (Luminics) and low beams (silverstar ultra)

real world pic, same DRL bulbs in my Si. Ideally, an OEM and DRL side by side pic would be nice.

^^ I bought their front lip and fitment is excellent! - I can't speak to this product but the lip I got is really good fitment and quality. If they had something like this for the sedan, I'd be on it in a heartbeat.
