P0244 is an overboost code. Your downpipe is making the turbo spool better, so boost pressure is going up and over ECU defined limits. Long story short, get a tune.

My car threw CELs like 3 times before the DP. AND, did the boost cut in and out thing before aswell. I didn't think it did until I remembered that it did. Would the intake with no tune cause overboosting aswell?

Possible however more likely that your afrs are off.....

Seriously you need to get it tuned before boom happens.

Yeah, i dislike those type, the oem is much easier to use and adjust and stronger (not as strong as me apparently

However, i do have some sets of those and might have to use them to restore camber to my car after installing GD struts. That takes a bit out...

I think I will take you up on that Neko (if you don't mind showing me how to do it). What day works best for you? Is it an issue to drive the car while its misfiring?

Any afternoon is fine, just let me know (shoot me a txt at 390-9218). It probably won't take ya longer than 30min to do the plugs. Most auto stores should stock them, I highly suggest NGK (or Denso if not avail).
As far as driving it, is it doing it again?
Oh, and remind me, how modified are you?

If you are on an OTS tune, have you tried resetting your ecu and putting the stock TMIC and intake back on?

No, it was a tune by a dude (craig I believe? well known tuner in Utah) in Ogden/SLC. He tuned for the tmic and cai so its not that. cant imagine that causing a miss fire, i donno though im a noob? I am fairly certain spark plugs since they have never been replaced.

Meet tomorrow at Lucy's we still on for it? I will be bringing the stock lgtwagster instead now.

That or bring the WRX down beforehand, and we'll get it running nice before the trip into IF.

Off to finish my suspension, Big thanks to Lusio for bringing me a bolt last night so i can get this ship-shape in time. Course once thats done, i'm just gonna wanna get the brakes finished up next...

Hmm. what to sell now? i need another $200.
Then i'll just want new summer tires... Vicious circle.

Hehe. Nice try tho. Think my wife might still kill me even if I sold two cars to get one. And I don't have the funding to cover the gap between the two and an Elise anyway right now.
Just not sure if I want to separate from the STi even if I don't exactly need it.

And we never quite made Lucy's. We were at Lucy's for a bit, and the majority wanted to adjourn to frosty gator, which was also good. Not sure who was the black WRX we saw on Anderson while we were leaving... Anyone know a black 04/5 (iirc) WRX owner?
