Hey xluben,
I noticed that you are running bc coilovers as many people are nowadays. I was looking for coilovers a few months back and found that the 2008 - 2010 coilovers are not as efficient when placed on the 2011+ models due to the suspension differences. I want to get the bc coils for my car but if they are not designed for it, I might have to reconsider. Do you have any advice or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Oh okay nevermind then. I'm also having an boost creep issue with my 2012 wrx. I have an Invidia downpipe, Invidia catback, Cobb SF intake, & Stage 2 ots map. Many people have told me that an external wastegate will fix the issue. Would you recommend the 38mm or 44mm EWG with my setup. Do these EWG sound different? Should i also upgrade the crosspipe while I'm at it? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it seems fairly common for the VF52 to overboost with a downpipe and intake. Mine was usually fine in the summer, but overboosted in the winter. Same thing happened with the 20G XTR. The EWG solved that completely. Perfect boost control. You should be fine with either the 38mm or 44mm. I think the 38mm is higher pitched and more raspy, often described as louder. I just did the crosspipe because it was cheap and easy. It's up to you if you want to.

Here's a quick video of me running through the gears after the motor swap. Boost up to ~26psi peak (25psi redline). Revving it out to around 7k.

It takes 4.42seconds to go from 50-100mph according to the video. The video from back when I was at ~23psi peak (20psi redline) took about 5.30seconds for 50-100.

Wheels arrived! Hope to install them this weekend. Still waiting on rubber. I got the "Silver" wheels (according to the website). The box says "Metal Grey". In some light they look darker (grey-ish), and in other light they look much lighter (silver-ish). I think it looks great. Perfect for what I was looking for.

I was surprised how quick it was!

I gave up on the Federals and ordered Star Specs from TireRack.

Nice, star specs are a bit pricey but I've heard nothing but good things about them. We'll see if I can pony up the dough for some ha ha

They're not too expensive, all things considered. Basically the same price as OEM. The Federal's are just dirt cheap. I really wish I could have saved a couple hundred bucks, but I didn't want to wait 2 months to get them.

2012 Summer Wheels! Went for the clean/OEM-style look. I opted for a 17x9" to save a little weight (vs. and 18x9.5"). I think they look great!

2011 Subaru WRX - BC Racing Coilovers
Mach V Awesome Wheels - 17x9" @ 17.8lbs
Dunlop Direzza Star Spec Tires - 255/40R17

Thanks! I think they look a little boring straight from the side but at an angle they're interesting enough to look cool, IMO. Definitely the clean look I wanted.

I think the same thing about mine. Wheels don't photograph well if you can't see the depth.
