nice what map and down pipe did you decide on?

Here is one i took at my buddys house while i was borrowing some snap ring pliers or what ever they are called to install the kart boy short shifter

i went with an invidia catted dp. at the moment it's on eric's TP stage 2 + cobb sf map. i also have a custom map eric sent me for when i install my grimmspeed ebcs.

any plans after the KB SS?

as of now, yeah i plan to keep the stock midpipe. i have nameless axle backs and they definitely got louder with the DP.

when you installed your DP did you remove the lower heat shield under the stock DP? i kept it on, it's a little tight but i managed to get the invidia over it.

yeah I took it off, I thought I needed to get it off to get to one of the nuts but I can't remember. Isn't it bolted to the stock dp?

idk why people say the DP doesn't change the exhaust note, I definatly hear a difference.

i ended up snapping of 1 of the screws. its the bracket that has the passenger side mounting point for the heatshield. i dunno seems to work with it on.

yeah it's noticeably louder. the true test is if my gf notices, she's always asking if i did anything to the car because it sounds louder anyways.

the only issue i have with rubbing is on slow turns with the wheel at full turn, but i think its just hitting my mudflaps. no issues with bottoming out which is pretty good considering how crappy boston roads are. you do have to be mindful of your front bumper especially if you have a lip. i typically approach driveways at an angle but its more precautionary than necessary. and mudflaps, they will rub, everywhere. but it goes to show RA's quality, besides a dull finish there's no signs of damage.

Nice that's what I ran on my last one. For now I have the short shifter, tinted windows, exhaust cut out installed after the down pipe. And front/rear sways and springs are on the way. I bought the eibach pro plus kit and I am planning on doing a diy write up when I install it with plenty of pics
