It's hard to say. On one hand, the small difference in price might be worth it. However, with the BRZ being made in somewhat limited quantities (which, at $25k, isn't out of reach), it's likely that a lot of dealerships will mark up their cars, while the FR-S is not allowed to be marked up due to it being pure pricing (though dealerships might get around that by adding on aftermarket wheels or other non-Scion parts that are marked up). Obviously the smart thing to do would be just to wait until the hype dies down and the mark-ups are gone, but I figure some people will be in the market for a new car around the time of launch, so they may not have that luxury to just hold off.
Indeed, if Subaru limits the production numbers how many folks will actually be able to buy a BRZ in the initial rush at or under the MSRP.
