I did the whole center console on my 06 sti and didn't use any other adhesive/promoter. You just gotta be patient and use heat. for the center section of the console (around the stereo) I actually started in the deep corners of the top left/right of the deck and moved outwards. Its easier to stretch it outwards then into the corners.

I wrapped accent parts on my one bike and tried to do the instrument panel on the other, the 3M Di-noc is thick and forgiving but I did have in issue with it pulling up in the high stretch areas when it got cold, I'll just chalk it up to a learning experience, the stuff is awesome on large areas with easy bends, I'm thinking about doing my roof in the stuff, and maybe the pillars.

I've ordered some from fastwrx. Trying to decide my final design. However what I have learned is that not everything needs to be wrapped. I think the subtle, well placed touches of carbon fiber wrap can look very good! I'll post back soon with some pictures!

I ordered mine, and miscalculated how much I needed. I'm left with enough extra to wrap a small house hah. I've done my dashboard trim and my A pillars. What's some other things I can warp?

Door handles (inside), vent trip, gauge cluster trip (inside the plastic), or you could just send some to me.

Haha, or he could do something like txl146, came out surprisingly good.
I know a lot of people find carbon fiber vinyl ricey, but I think it looks good as long as it's subtle, and not overdone.
