Default any reviews on Falken Ziex ZE-612??

Looking for any reviews on Falken Ziex ZE-612's.

I had a set of 512's prior to my current Sumitomo HTRZ3 tires and liked them for a good daily driver that was expected ok in the wet. Really didnt like the HTRZ3's , they got hard and noisy after a while.
Anyone that has tried the newer ZE-612's, how do you like/hate them? Any experiences with any other Falken model in comparison?

Thanks in advance

if you want a cheap all-season, it'll probably fit the bill.

whats your reservations on anything falken from anything you've tried?

conti dws reviews seem to have good wear characteristics but have a soft sidewall and a 500 UTQG, might be more suited to a commuter IMO.
I'd prefer to have a stiffer sidewall.

btw, thanks for the review writeup link

the ze512s i had were average, never tried the 912s. from what i remember, their sidewalls were on par with the DWS but i don't know what was changed going from the 512s to the 912s.

average in the snow and wet which is to be expected from an all-season, but not as good as the re960as and DWS. the quiet ride was nice though.

why are you looking at an all-season if your previous tires were summers?

I've never had a reason to put anything but summer tires when i was in AZ, now im back in NJ. Last all-season that I had on the car were the original RE92's. Just thinking practical for the expected rainfall.

summer tires are far better than all-seasons at everything but snow and temps below freezing

I would put "some summer" as these pesky extereme performance, dry only tires do exist.
