My rad started leaking after I did my timing belt change so I upgraded to a mishimoto radiator. No more leaks. :-)

Not exactly Subaru related, but I just finished replacing the valve and spark plug gaskets on my 91 accord.

194 thousand miles and counting...

installed my SPT ram air, exchanged the cone filter for a K&N (not recommended. you cant install the heat shield because the 6" cone touches the inner fender), said screw the heat shield. now my stock recirculating BPV sounds like a full VTA, and i can hear my beautiful turbo. also put on my new license plates. this weekend im probably going to buy the parts to install my hella supertones, and then order my rotors, pads, and buy new wheels/tires.

its all coming together :')

That heat shield is the only thing that makes the spt intake any good at all. I know I have one and ran with and without it.

Log your IATs with and without it. You'll be suprised how much higher they are without the shield.

Higher iat means less timing and significantly less power
