Idk what I have because I bought the car this way. My low beams or projectors are bright blueish white just trying to find out what kind of low beams I have so I can match my high beams to it. Ill see what I can find through research but questions and answers are what a forum is for.....

HID's in the high beam is not nearly as bad as idiots in their 02-05's with HID's in the reflector. As long as you wire the HID high beams to a separate switch so as to avoid bumping the stock high beam lever and causing wear on the ballasts, it will be fine.

Consider ventilation for the HID bulbs too. They will cause the chrome on the reflector to peel if it gets too hot in there.

if you yourself have no idea what sort of hack job is lurking underneath the hood, how can you expect to get complete answers to your questions?

How hard can it be to open your hood and examine your lights?
Probably could of done it in the time it took me to type this out.

Also, if you are just going to do *whatever it is anyway* despite people explaining why it isn't the right way to do it, why post at all? You seem to have made up your mind already. Asking us questions while having zero interest in responses that differ from your predetermined outcome is a waste of everyone's time.

Take both bulbs from one side of the car out of the housing. Compare bulbs. If they look the same, they are halogens. If one is long and skinny, HID, and the other is short and stubby, halogen. Simple. Get your hands dirty and use google. Google will become your friend.

lol....you'll feel better if you know what you are personally working with. The information is here but it tends to come with a social cost, the cost of people not playing into laziness, ignorance, etc. if you pop your hood, and look at the back of the lights, there should be two big ass round black plastic caps. twist them, like unscrewing a big bottle cap, about a 1/4 turn and then they pop off the back. then just peek down with your phone or a flashlight and look at, or take a picture, so you can be assisted. Dont let people get you down, just know you have to be informed as much as possible before asking the questions. Good luck with your lights and your car.
