Had the same issue on my 08. Some leak some dont. Check to make sure everything is nice and tight, make sure the topmount isnt coming lose at the TB tube(they can blow off), make sure your endcaps of your topmount arnt leaking(those leak too...gotta love plastic pressed on crap). I ended up replacing my BOV with a Forge unit. Havnt had an issue since.

Give Foreman Performance a call or shoot them a PM...Talk with Jason or Vim. Top Notch guys that specialize in the 3rd gen Subaru's. Only place I buy parts from when it comes to my WRX.

I've got the same problem...Running 20psi, I get a really loud whine/whistle when it get past about 15psi. I've had the car checked for leaks, it's tight. Could it be the IC/bpv going not handling the high psi?

I didnt think with a stage 1 tune that you could or should be at 18lbs of boost that seems a lil high?

do a boost leak test or a smoke test on the car. that is the only real way to see were the problem is coming from.

on a side note, my stock by pass valve leaks at around 18psi slightly.

My 2010 was doing the same thing on a stage 1 map, it ended up being the throttle body hose being loose and the gasket blew out. I suggest t-bolt clamps and an aftermarket hose.

I've also heard using hair spray on the inside of the tube to help it stay on as well, nothing crazy a little bit of spraying and wipe it off

Something seems off here im guessing your running the AP with the stage one OTS map? If so then then your going past the target boost.

I would still look into a better solution, such as the AVO, that stock TB coupler will keep coming loose, or start breaking at its glue points.. trust me.

Here is the AVO... http://www.avoturboworld.com/avoshop...hose-p-33.html

Yup, the AVO hose and t-bolt clamps fixed my leak as well.

However, if I were to do it again I'd just take off the rubber end caps and use t-bolt clamps with the stock hose and some hairspray.
