Yeah, I'm not saying you can't have the colder plugs, just saying most seem to add them after bringing the boost up.

Based on those mods I would reccommend the 1 step colder colder plugs and a fuel pump and that would put you at stage 3.

I do see your point about the buildup but I've had them in for almost three months without any problems, hesitation or misfires. It does give a little breathing room in terms of timing and also helps when pushing the stock VF52 to 22-23psi. Keep in mind that I'm also on a conservative 93oct tune. I've seen similar cars with just Intake, exhaust, Downpipe, EBCS and Topmount running 305HP/335TQ on a mustang. That's w/o changing plugs, pump, or injectors... Now that I'm not doing e85, I wish I saved that money on all the extra things I don't need. I had plans for turbo, e85, up pipe, etc and I've decided not to anymore. |

Thanks for the info. I will most likely instal the colder plugs for safety sake. When I originally talked to Agile about the tune they said a fuel pump and injectors are not needed if I have no future plans of a turbo or E85.

I'm pretty content with the power made on the Cobb AP, tbe, and intake but I know a tune will get the most out of those parts. Then I figured if I'm paying for a tune might as well get a few more things first to make the best of it.

I'm getting tune with 93. Hoping for 300whp/330wtq. We used to have Sunoco Ultra 94 but they did away with it a few years ago. |

you'll hit that number no problem. your mod list is identical to mine, except my dp is catless and i have a GFB BOV instead of the forge.
if you don't plan on using E85 in the future, then the one step colder plugs make sense. i was told that they tend to foul with E85, but are definitely better with pump gas. |

The tune I got for 91 was kind of fudged because when I was there I couldn't find a gas station with 100 miles that had 91 octane so the closest I could find was 92. Since they didn't have the exact fuel in the car he tuned really conservatively to be on the safe side. that's why the numbers are a little low for 91.

I think you saw them, remember I tried to do the pulls in fourth gear with winter tires and almost killed myself?!? Lol..
I haven't tried it with the new tune on 93. If I get a chance I'd like to, just to see how it does. I'm in process of moving so all my time has been dedicated to the new place |

anyone that's stage 2 see if the MPG on the car is still accurate? i can't remember if i was stage 1 or stock when i tested it and it was +/- 1MPG compared to on paper. haven't had a chance to do it at stage 2 yet because i keep forgetting to reset the ODO. it's now showing +1MPG from stage 1 but i find that hard to believe.

I like to challenge myself to a MPG competition every now and then I average 20 with no highway but I'll go a couple weeks creeping on the gas to see if I can get a whopping 23...

LOL. i drive 2 hours a day. i need to drive a car that is enjoyable, not one of those toyotas. actually, when i was shopping for a new car, i knew it would be one of two things:
performance: wrx mpg: prius tbh the prius probably wouldve saved me thousands of dollars in gas by now, not to mention the cost of the mods, etc. my obd reads 22.8 right now since the oil change/stage2. it used to read 21.9 at stage 1. 70/30 highway/city |
