I do not know if Michigan charges tax on the difference between the two cars or not. I remember hearing that they do NOT, and that you get charged tax on the full price, but my memory really stinks.

Calling a MI dealer would answer that for you.

Do you offer competitive trade in value as well? I have an 06 STI and I may be looking to jump into a new STI here soon. The military just sent me to NM from MI so I wish I could of got a deal up there with you all before moving here haha. I don't know how flexible these NM/TX dealerships are on price...

We do work well with clean trade ins. Probably an issue with you being out of state now though...

If you don't have any luck with NM dealers check out Hueberger in Colorado Springs. Not a bad drive depending on what part of NM....and they are very competitive.

Thank you! I just found them as well and sent a price request. They are still an 8.5 hour drive, but its better than driving all the way back up north haha. The Albuquerque Subaru dealer has one 2012 STI left, but they will probably want a ridiculous price for it since smaller dealerships try treating STI's like gold that doesn't depreciate.
