This thing is tuning like an Evo 9 timing wise. 2 degrees over my usual Evo maps on 93 and a 35r.

Btw, I lost the thread on the vf power band shape and low end hit vs linear mid and more top end. I agree and usually tune my vfs in the manor.. I have 3 vf cars in the 11s as proof, don't worry I'm building another to drive the point home.
Wow I was thinking you had that 6266 on there, so you did not even install that turbo. I was thinking about the 5862 CEA for my XTI once I do the motor. What is the final calculated compression ratio you're running and what headers do you have on the XTI? Still rocking the Spearco TMIC?

That curve looks pretty linear and pretty darn early as well, no lag at all, making 300 WTQ at 3700-3800, I'm sure you could fit a stock VF curve inside of it.

Very NICE!!

Maybe the weekend, just enjoying it for now. Perfect DD, ice cold AC, handles, stops, pulls, and I can lug around the rottie and kid comfortably.

Hit me up and lets do it!!

Im figuring if my 3500lb XT went 11.7@116-117mph, a 2800-3000lb STI will go a little faster

Im not even doing much WGDC tuning to make it spool, I am still using the old settings from the stock motor. It comes in about 500 rpm faster.
62 will be going on in a few weeks, compression I will do shortly. I am not sure were it ended up. Spearco still kicking ass

My ultimate goal is 600tq/700whp on e85, I made 800whp with a 6266 so I think I will get were I want with the 62 and still have my TQ

Sweet JR! You're using the 9.8/1 Manley's right? Can you shoot some pics of your engine compartment after you get the 6266 installed? Can't wait to see what that does on PG and E85! What are you running for crankcase ventilation, Crawford AOS or....?

Yep, 9.8's with thinner HGs and decked heads/block. We wrote it down somewhere, but I think it was like 10.2-10.3. The off boost is great, and the transition into boost even better. It is also getting some nice gas mileage now.

I will post pics tomorrow with the HTA82 tomorrow. I am running a custom can with -8an lines right now, but I did pick up a crawford AOS to install when I swap the turbo.

Im getting antsy.. I might take her to the track tomorrow on pumpgas and see how close to the 10s I can get.

Yes, nice and very clean EC!! I like where you mounted the catch can, it keeps it up higher so that should help with the drainage on the Crawford when you install that. I just bought a Crawford as well I'm gonna swap it in for the 2 stage/ Grimm AOS & Greddy can I have installed now. I like the closed loop and heated aspects of the Crawford AOS, it should work much better. I also really want to stay with a TMIC to keep the charge path short.

Are you using the rear reservoir for IC spray?

4th gear, 20psi still on 93 only reved to 6k due to traffic.. Something isn't right about the displayed power though. It doesn't feel like a 560whp car, but then again I'm used to a high 600s and 700+tq in my daily driver. So maybe it is making some good power, it def spools good!

No IC sprayer hooked up yet, I have a NX spray kit that I could throw on... but the nozzle will end up in the TB knowing me

Dude, you've got to over-lay your last VF power curve on that bad boy and extend it out to the right another 1500 rpm's. That is one sic power band. It's a solid 4K of let's get after it, short shift, run it out, whatever.....let's go!! Nice and rounded full of torque! I want my power band something like that except I don't need that much HP for a DD road car. I just want it early, good and steady and fully long legged like yours! E85 WTF

The new version of Virtual dyno reads high because they changed the logarithm but they forgot to adjust the CF. Also you need to run more smoothing around 8-10 will give more accurate numbers. I noticed that you are using your AP for logging; when I use my AP vs RomRaider with fast spooling I get higher numbers, I imagine is because of the number of data points. So I think its reading a little high, I doubt the car is making about 655whp dynojet (580whp mustang) at 20psi with 93oct.

What you think Junior a 125-127mph car at the current level?

Juan,

I think it reads high. I am expecting a legit 480-520whp@20psi on a dynojet. Honestly the curve shape is all I am after. Also switching it to 10 only makes like a 8whp diffrence but makes the graph look like it will pull to 12,000rpm... lol..

It feels like a solid 127-128mph car, or a high 10s car right now. I really want to get it to the track!!!!

Sweet! here is mine:

It will probably go down to 505-510 when they release the new version of VD. Although I am on E85 and with way more boost my car weights almost 1000lbs less . I turned down low for the sake of my 09 Sti rods.

Very nice, that setup in a sub 3k will probably trap 140mph! I am supposed to go setup and tune FastEddie's 2 cars in Georgia ( Buckhead Atlanta ) soon. You should let me or Eddie drive it for you and see if it will dip into the 9s on a stock location setup.

As for the TQ/Rods, I did the same thing on my stock block when I was making over 600whp. It gets to a point were you cant really fight it anymore though and the TQ just goes to were it wants too. Be careful with under timing the motor too, "conservative" timing can also cause det and super high EGTs.

If you want to mail me your Rom I would be more then happy to help you out with what I learned on my stock block big boost setup.

Damn. I wanted to see where it could go on the stock motor. I am going to try and push mine into the 10s this season on stock engine with a 3582.

I have pushed the stock motor into the 10s many times. My best ET/Mph on the stocker was 10.7@134 or so.. It has been a few years since we did any stock motor fun with the exception of mine. Judging by the 1/8th though, it was an easy 10sec 3500 ride.

I am switching my car back to the Crawford can. Do I think I need it? Nope, but I dont know how well this can will manage when I have the boost at 36-38psi
As for your question, text me
