working right now on getting some new Iridium plugs and a Grimmspeed 3-port EBC..as well as Grimmspeeds internal wastegate blocker. should have it all purchased tonight

heres a few pics of some stuff ive gotten in the mail (or bought at the store)

heres my HKS Hi-Power cat-back exhaust.. switched from the BLITZ, to this.. had an HKS on my evo and loved it.. so im real happy to have one again

and threw out the cheap/terrible Spectre (pep boys crap) cone filter and bought a new AEM dry-filter... again, had one on my evo and it was great.. my tuner said its one of the best flowing filters on the market

and bought a few cans of PB Blaster this will be my best friend when it comes time to tear down everything under my car

Wow, amazing work man. I was soooo close to attempting to do the same thing with my bugeye rs, then I just bought a bugeye wrx w/ a rod knock, and rebuilt the motor. Stroker ftw but this is epic man. Btw, haha funny thing is, I bought my car with a HKS BOV like yours, then bought the OEM bypass valve to replace it, and now it's doing the same thing for you haha. Shipping it out tomorrow morning

IT HAS BEGUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, yesterday i got a LOT done! it was a very good start to the swap. spent about 10 hours working on it.

-this was the last time she was in one piece until she is a full blown STI

-final shot of the engine bay as a 2.5RS

-started taking out all the fenderlining and front clip pieces

-bye bye bumper, grille, fenders and hood

-got most of the suspension taken apart.. didnt know how to remove the axles, so that took some figuring out... damn pins!

-the beginning of the interior tear down

-started to disassemble all the pieces under the hood to get ready to pull the engine and transmission

-this is me working on the interior.. getting that damn pesky dash to come off

-the motor and tranny came out pretty easy! bought a engine cradle/leveler and DAMN did that help!

-aaannnnddddd shes out!!!!

-no more engine!

-got a lot more of the interior stripped out

-a pretty cool shot of the progress

-got the subframe and suspension all taken out now.. only thing getting reused is the U-frame

-no more subframe

-got the dash to finally come off

-and heres how the interior sits as of now

-this is where the car is as of now, except i got the rear coilovers off after this pic was taken
