Default RA Mudflap Install - Baja?

For you guys that have RAs on your Baja? How'd you install them? I keep looking and I can't seem to find anything. Does the hardware that comes with them fit or do you just put rig them up yourself?

If you rigged them up yourself I'd love to what you did and if you'd recommend it or not.

I bought the basic ones first to make a template as you can see here (front flap is the left one in pic and rear is the right) then I got the universal urethane ones and copied the template. I drilled a only a few holes, finally got them in the right spot after some trial and error. Will post some pics later of them installed. I think they came out nice.

+1. I traced the shape and created cardboard ones to play with, get level, get square and get even. I then bought some stainless hardware and metal tie-ins at Home Depot (flat pieces of metal used to tie wood together) and used them to brace the side facing the fender liner. Unfortunately I neglected to take pictures of the process, but here is what they look like installed.

Here are the metal tie-ins that I used. <CLICK ME>

Basically I just used these to span the dead space in the wheelwell, creating a flat surface and giving the flap some support and rigidity at the top. It worked great through the, albeit mild this year, Ohio winter.
