Damn nice power man. That thing flies from 70 onward. Gotta Love Cleo and the rest of the guy/girls over a precision.

^ Just to let everyone know, this is on stock wrx heads, and after 6.2k rpm the power goes down and i have to shift. now that i have a 6mt it's kinda bad when having fun with others. raced an evo with stock turbo at 27psi and 8k redline. i could keep up with him but i felt really bad that i had such a bigger turbo and i couldn't win. i really need 2.5 heads at least.

I'm a little confused, your saying your car doesn't make power after 6,200 rpm?with a 30r??? Wrx heads should flow better than sti heads iirc. My 18ged 05 wrx pulls hard till 7,000. Just sayin, nice numbers though.

^ I believe they custom Mahle pistons since i can't find the part number anywhere on the web. same pistons are being used by the shop on 700whp sti's

The graph at the end of the dyno video looks smooth. I have a similar swap in my 99 RS coupe with built EJ257 and WRX 2.0 heads.

Looked like 20 psi on the dyno plot. Still some pretty impressive numbers for what little is done. I bet this thing is fun to drive.

Got my car tuned couple weeks ago, so just updating this. it pulls harder than before, same power tho. discovered that i don't have ID1000cc, instead they're 725cc, i was surprised that the car made 400whp on 93 with those.

Another Hybrid.

701 EJ257 30-50k miles, all stock with Mahle Drop-in pistons
Cnc'ed 04 wrx heads with BC spring and retainers
2006 USMD 6MT
clutchmasters 8puck
Fliped FMIC and shortened piping
Arp Head studs.
GM IAT
3 bar AEM MAP sensor.

The rest is the same as my first setup. except the ID injectors are only 725cc

Open Source
Speed Density
4th Gear.
93 pump gas
DynoJet
88-90 degrees temp.

Wow very impressive on both builds. Curious as to what happened to the old block? Love the 70-115 pull!

Thanks,
Rick

My old motor blew cuz I didn't tight really good the boost controller line and came off while doing a pull, chirped tires in 1st, 2nd and 3rd! Felt great tho, Lol,

It was a very reliable motor, just a little to noisy and oil consumption due to the cp pistons.
