what kind of gas are you using? how hot was it when you got tune?, 91 degree

To me it looks like the numbers are too low for the boost you are running, the small housing and 2.5L should net a lot more torque. Some VF39 make 300whp on airboys on 93oct at 17psi.

I was running 93oct and it was something like 85 degrees outside. Well tuned Stage 2 STi's in similar weather using my tuners graph put down 275whp / 290wtq.

His turbo is fairly heavily ported, so it yielded lower torque numbers but higher HP numbers then I expected. Raw intake temps where between 85-90, as it was around 85-87 degrees outside.

No local VF39's put down 300+ WHP on Airboy's dyno. Those types of numbers are a pipedream, or from logs with 40 degrees or less ambient temperature.

Nasioc power numbers are inflated as all hell, you should know that .

#'s do seem kinda low, but I bet its still fun drive. Have fun with it!

I dropped 286whp(vf39@18psi) and 310whp(hta68@21psi) with my 2.0l.

I am sure Bullwinkle would be happy to inflate them to "normal" Nasioc power numbers .

No. Like everyone else on NASIOC, please read one of the thousands of rants regarding the differences between dyno numbers.

I put down 310WHP/349 ft/lbs on an 18g7cm on a 2.5 Liter. 18lbs of boost tapering to 14 at 6300.
mods were:
Ebay TMIC
deadbolt 18g
TBE
91 octane Piss gas
CAMtuning open source tune ;D

IDC's were kind of high at 93% but

Juan I have put down 3 13.2@102 back to back on 3 different nights and I'm cutting 1.73 60". Im also out here with Cam at a mile high and the DA was 8200ft on 2 of the runs and 7300ft on the other. I have only run the car these three times since the tune, i don't need to be replaceing a tranny any time soon I just bought a house. I am poor
hope this helps

No, we both have 18g's putting down real numbers for where we are at. You can't compare what a vf39 puts down in a different part of the country on a different dyno (Even if it is airboy's, things do change as you travel about the country) to what we put down here. Cars running the setup you have here in MN Juan simply dont put down the numbers you are claiming. We just had a vf39'd 07 WRX put down 275whp and 300ish tq on a Mustang.

qft, any comparison made over the internet is just that... made over the internet. evironmental variables ultimately make the difference. Dyno's only measure the output and using traps is nearly as flawed. NHRA cars have fast tracks and slow tracks.. I am literally on my way to BRAINERD MN now, and I do not expect to see E-town numbers here.

What I trust the numbers to tell me is how much I gain from each phase of modification, within a reasonable range. The same dyno on different days will tell me different numbers, but I can factor a mean, and see the net gain of "x" part(s). Outside of that the numbers don't have much use, and certainly can't be used as the ground on which "bragging" rights stand. I do however like more power, but whether the dyno tells me 350/375, or 290/340 as long as I can turn a better time and feel more connected to the car I am happy.
