I have an older pair of Specialized shoes that I like and have held up really well. I really like the ratcheting system on them.

New tremendously-huge roller duffel for hauling bulky work stuff through the airport. It replaces a not-so-tremendously huge duffel that DIA's baggage system chewed up and spat out.

This x 11dy.

However, if you pick up say... a 120GB down the road, throw that one in a 2.5" external usb 3.0 enclosure, and it becomes a super fast portable storage/transfer/backup device

I went to Sports Chalet saying how much I hate big box stores and walked out with this. I didn't even go there to buy a bike. Anyone have any opinions on this. I've never ridden a road bike before. It's pretty fun.

Bicycling is one of my favorite sports. Any details on the bike? component level? Size?

I would get rid of the toe clips on the pedals and either run on the platforms or get clipless pedals. They are much more intuitive for getting off of. Just push your heel to the side and you pop right off.

For my flatbar roadbike, I got the combo type. It is a small hassle to flip to the clipless side, but it is nice to be able to ride with regular shoes for a trip to the store or whatever. I have shin beaters on my ATB.
