Yep! I was out test driving the new wheels/tires. If I had noticed you I definitely would of stopped!

What'd you get for wheels/tires Marky Mark?

Just some silver RS 6-spokes. I plan on painting them gold though.

Tires are Falken Ziex 512. 215/60/16. They were on sale on discount tire direct, 316 shipped.

I thought about going to a lower profile size to get into some higher performance summers. But then I would have had more wheel gap, which would of lead to me wanting to lower the car more.... which would of lead me to spending a grand on new suspension...

So I decided to stick with "high performance all seasons." They have a much lower treadwear than my last set of tires (yokohama avids) so they grip a bit better. So meh, I'm happy with them.

I have a funnel I wanted to reduce the mess and use that yellow one that you screw onto your radiator

Would depend on price. The wheels aren't in the best shape so I don't want to sped a ton of money on them. You have any pricing info?

They don't seem any louder than my last set of tires. That's definitely a common complaint for them though, from what I've read. The Forester has so much wind/road noise anyways, I probably wouldn't even notice the tire noise lol.

Just aim and poor. Spill a ton on the driveway. That's how I've always done it!! Oil/coolant/gas stains just add character to the pavement and provide great conversation starters!

One of my good friends does powder coating on the side and he said he can do up to a 17" wheel probably. I will ask him about pricing and get back to you sir.

You should also find out for me because I'm in need of powdercoating for my 17" wheels, old paint/powder coat started pealing

I haven't been able to find one of those locally for a while. I just use a regular funny shoved in and it works fine.

But both my driveways have so many stains I don't really care if any happens to spill
