Initially, since the car has to go through the Kalifornia bureaucracy (lunacy) it has to be certified for the engine swap through the B.A.R. and Kali DMV, so I am required to have it configured as if it were a stock 2006 STI. That means stock intake, exhaust, smog crap etc.

I chose 2006 STi as the swap year because the 2006 STI does not have the secondary air pump crap, and also 2006 STI has knock sum defined in RomRaider so it makes it a lot nicer when tuning.

So, it will start life with an STI top mount, but when it is all said and done, it will be rotated manifold, rotated twinscroll and fmic.
