There's a lot of things that could be done/better/etc of course.

4L80's etc don't grow on trees in Australia. If he wants a 4speed auto it would be better to stick the original Aisin box in there as they are common as dirt and easy to build strong over here. The T400 came up cheap and is simple. It'll work fine, it's not meant to be an all round vehicle that does everything well, it's meant to be a ****box with a turbo V12 in it that does skids.

In the midst of tuning. The VVT is not operating as yet, still trying to figure that out. Don't think the 1JZVVT trigger mode likes having a second cam to control.

Makes 350hp atw at 8psi and flatlines. Could be the converter too, it flares to 4k despite the 2800 rpm target rating.

It makes bulk torque from idle, will just have to see if we can get some more numbers out of it so we can win the internet.

Is it just the way it sounds, or is it not accelerating very fast?

There is no doubt in my mind that you could break 400 maybe 500 hp. If you could get everything working and lined up right.

The VVT works now, just had to change the vvt mode to 1GRFE so it would accept two cam signals.
Also found it had a lot of spark delay(4 degrees retard) so corrected that as well. That would explain why it never bucked at 13degree timing in the top end.

I still think the converter is eating up numbers though. We'll see in a couple of days.

Inspirational indeed!

Now you just need to show us the new video of your dyno with VVT activated and drive a president or governor, or some high-level politician around haha!

That's pretty impressive considering it will have had all sorts of traction problems...

What vehicle is the smaller booster from? What did you do about the clutch master?

Starting to think about clutch master cylinders now.

I don't have a ton of experience since first diving into the enthusiast world but that being said this is one of my favorite swaps. I haven't really seen anything this out of the "norm" before! Thanks for the thread!
