I think it is an accessory that can be added at the dealer. I ordered my car with it and it didn't show on the window sticker. It came in later after I took delivery of the car.

I ordered my sport April 9th and just got a call from my dealer and it will be here May 21st. 2 weeks will be a long wait lol..

No problem. I think the wing does wonders for the sedan, it makes it look so much better. I could give or take the back of the sedan but the wing makes it look awesome I would def get one!

Did you install it by yourself? Or was it port installed? My only apprehension is that it is almost $400.00 for it. And you have to drill like 12 holes in your trunk! It really completes the car.

I had it installed at the port. I totally get why you would be nervous drilling 12 holes in the trunk, I wouldn't do it personally, I'd pay someone. It def does complete the car though. I don't know if your aware but you can go to http://www.subaru.com/parts-service/index.html & get discounted pricing. From what I found your local dealers do have different pricing so check a couple of them. But for instance I just looked for you & found the wing MSRP $399.95 & they are selling it online for $339.96. The left over $60 may be an hour of install time to have the dealer do it for you.

i'd be curious to hear what the dealer install charges are.

i don't know if it's because i got the parts at cost, but when i inquired about installation of a homelink mirror and body side moldings, the installed costs were both 110-130 over the cost of the parts themselves. (so i did them myself!)

Been meaning to post pictures for a while, but have just been too busy/lazy..

2012 DGM Sport Premium Impreza 5-spd
35% tint all around

Have been loving everything about it so far! Starting to see a lot more 2012 Imprezas around NE Ohio. Have seen my same model twice. Mines the only one that was tinted though

Thinking about doing the caliber painting just like someone else did to my same model on this thread (was thinking about it because I did it on my Audi, when I saw those pics on here it made me jealous). Would really like a rear spoiler as well.

since it's a picture thread... thought i'd get some more pix up. DGM Premium with 17" Alloy Wheel Package. Tinted - 35% front, 20% back & hatch. De-badged.

I may be alone, but I prefer the chrome on the grill, especially with the DGM. If I had the white though, I would've gone darker on the wheels and plastidip on the chrome if not a sport grill.

Still on the to do list: yellow vinyl overlays for the fog lights & i have a black vinyl decal overlay for the spoiler brake light.

Very nice! I like the chrome (I also have DGM) but i find myself t honking about the sport grill as an upgrade. I like the debased look. I'm considering that too, but not sure I want it that way long term. How hard was the debadge job?

I had my tint guy remove them. But from what I've heard if you heat it up with a hair dryer first or let it sit in the sun it'll be easier to take the badges off. They have a double sided foam tape keeping them on. 3M adhesive remover or Goo-Gone works on any left over adhesive.

sounds like it is actually reversible (assuming one can get some adhesive replacement) then? (i was thinking for resale purposes, etc that it might be good to be able to put them back on)

Someone else on here also did this and I think it makes your car look awesome! Do the beefy 235/45's stick out past the edge of the fender line? Do they tuck inside the wheel well going over bumps? Would love to see more pictures from different angles.

I did this too with my wrx wheels and my dad's impreza. Funny that you and I are the only two I saw do this, and we're both on buffaloscooby. I have pictures on BS in my wrx journal thread and earlier in this thread.

These cars definitely look better with the wrx wheels.
