Contingency for ESP and not just L1 so I don't have to feel bad if I switch classes.

Seriously, if you're going all omnipotent with requests, why not ask for something more useful than a $150 contingency check, like, "Can you write the federal government and ask them to do a 25% flat tax instead of the complete clusterfk we have now?" I think that might be worth more in the long run...

If you are autocrossing your car seriously enough to be in ST class, and tune for it, I hope you'd have a REALLY good reason to make a warranty claim when something goes south. If not, you're just making everything we buy from Subaru cost more for relatively no good reason.

I beat up SOA for a goodwill clutch at 34,000 miles because it never felt right, from new. I only auto-x'ed it a couple times on street tires in novice class. The new one has so much better pedal feel, has 30k on it, and probably 20 autocrosses, (10 or so D-Stock tire class, 5 STU mild prep, and 5-6 middling STX prep) and I'm known as a relatively hard launcher and it's still going strong(knocking on wood now for the Pro-solo this weekend). Just to illustrate what I'd consider a relatively good reason.

I did think the $150 was a lil' cheesy, but hey, it's better than nothing. James might get his entry fee back. I probably shouldn't waste the paper to fax the W-9 in...

I thought you destroyed the trans on one of your practice starts...STU evo's arent suppose to have smoking coming from the front wheel wells at the 60ft mark!
