Default Accessport dyno

If this is in the wrong section sorry. But how accurate is the accessport dyno function? I don't have access to a real dyno and would like to know if it's a trustable reading.

The COBB AP dyno feature gives inconsistent and generally incorrect results. Often reading much, much higher than they should. Just take a log and use Airboy or Virtual Dyno.

This works pretty good for me.

http://www.bradbarnhill.com/projects/VirtualDyno/

I have never had the car on the rollers but the numbers I get are in check with similarly modded cars.

This is confusing.

renosubby already tuned/dyno'd the car and now you are wanting to know how accurate the COBB dyno is because you don't have access to a dyno?

Not accurate, at all. I was dyno tuned at 220whp back in the day with E85, all the goodies, and a td04. The Cobb AP said I was making 345whp, which isn't possible out of a tdo4. Don't use it, not worth it.

Low reading dyno Would have been about 270-275whp on a dynojet. It was about a 75whp gain over stock and 25 whp gain over stage 2 with all the bolt ons and 91 octane. The td04 was definitely the limiting factor, can only run so much boost for so long.
