Contact Power6 from 3GWRX. He has a line on them, but I think you have to buy in bulk. Otherwise, they will (hopefully) pop up on eBay again someday.

This is great. And since I have a legacy, I shouldn't have any issues with picking up the right key; just need to put it into a switchblade housing.

Now I just need to find the housing....

I'm hoping the FCC ID CWTWB1U811 is compatible with my CWTWB1U819 ID on my 2012. They should be because they use the same chips, but I guess I'm just going to have to test it.

My mom has a 2011 outback, are those keys the same as the legacy's? Also if someone wants to start a group buy for the blanks I'm 1000% down.

Just as a fyi. Getting the new style security blade cut is a major pita. I can't find anyone around me that can do it. Even Subaru said they couldn't. I may be sol on this project. I filed down the valet key to work with the flip housing but I wasn't happy with the fitment.

Your dealership should be able to do it, we do them for customers all the time Go back to your dealer and tell them to go under the subarunet site and order a key under the inventory ops fixed ops section>security key request.

If I'm the one doing the group buy on the shells, I would be willing to mod them for an additional charge. You would have to supply the Legacy key and the donor key from your car.
