Whaa?? you ok?

on a much lighter but important note.. I need someone to have a look at my hvac at home. Or I'm gonna faint from heat exposure when it gets hot. Worse, the animals will not dig it. I cleaned up my pm box recently and lost the contacts that had messaged me about it last fall (shoulda had it looked at then, but sucker started working again so I let it ride). Kevin, I know you mentioned you work HVAC but coordinating gettin ya over here has been a lil tough, you's a busy dood!

Anyone else qualified that can/will do some side work? Lemme know what the $$ will be to come out and have a look. I'd rather support n pay a local subie friend vs cold calling (no pun) a random ac guy I dont know.

Any takers?

I'll do side work, just don't have hvac experience. Can do quite a bit else. No pro but have done wiring and plumbing before.

What's everyone's views on Perry Subaru? Just went there the other day to get the alignment checked out, and they seemed like a pretty cool crowd. Just wondering if they're good for service and such, considering I plan on taking our car there for routine maintenance.

thats who fixed my car. they are good with there service the only thing i had an issue with was there communication. Hard to get them to call me back and keep me updated the whole time my car was there.

yea he is suppose to do my tires next week. he said they are hella busy but have two new guys starting next week thats why i have to wait. im still unsure if i want to wait tho because i need to get these hella bald tires off my car. plus im impatient and im tired of staring at them in the garage.

I hate being broke i need to do something to my car.

Anyone going to Williamsburg Cars and Coffee tomorrow?

Mike where is the free inspection at? (Don't want to goto south side)

I MIGHT goto C&C tomorrow. (details?)

Just got done installing the front and rear shifter bushings on the car. (Energy suspension front bushing, don't suggest because it's a 1 piece design. I did cut it and it works just fine, but pre-cut KartBoy is the way to go) Also installed the "race" stiffness KB rear diff bushings. Car feels a LOT better. Took a great deal of slop out of the car, I'm happy.

Ok well i may head up that way.

Umm i bought a car that had issues (that i wasnt aware of) and i took it to them a couple of times until it was finally fixed. Main issue ended up being a bad cat.

So after driving on the roads of HR for a few days I have decided not to get the linear springs for my rear KW's and keep the progressives for now.
It's a bumpy enough ride as it is.

It does nothing.. literally.. nothing. T-stat clicks when attempting to turn the system on.. but nothing at either the inside or outside unit. I'm thinkin the controller board is toast or its low on freon and wont fire because of that. Only half educated guesses though.

When pushing the relay manually outside it fires the compressor and fan.. But otherwise at the outside unit nothing happens when the t-stat inside is triggered.

I'm well versed in electronics/wiring/troubleshooting.. but I dont have schematics or any background to know where/how to test an hvac system.
