Hello, Clark. My name Igor Frolenkov, I'm from Russia.

I used the your e-tune services up four times. All times I was satisfied except last once.

I wrote you about overboost and boost limit cut on 4th gear in race mode on 2005MY JDM STI, that you tuned.

You say strange things in last letter:

Quote:
No. You ordered an 06 map. Then you wanted an 05 map. You where insulting to me. I told u to not contact me.
I don't understand that does it mean...

I am ready to publish a complete history of correspondence about tune this car as well as a screenshot of payment details through paypal, indicating the destination of the payment.

I really hope you answer me by e-mail (kspk_job@mail.ru) and explain to me what the problem consist of.

I also hope that if we will solve this problem, in the future we will be able to tune another cars.

You ordered an 06 STI map for the car. I sent the 06 STI map to you. You then came back and told me the map wont load on the car and after much frusteration and you screaming at me, we find it was an 05 STI.

It was your mistake that you did not know the year of the car. You insulted me, then threatened me as you are doing now and screamed at me.

I sent you the 05 STI map for FREE to make you happy, That means I have now sent you TWO seperate maps for the car.

If you want the 05 STI map tuned, You must pay me to tune the map. I will NOT tune your map for free and I will not respond to threats on email and phone.

I run an honest company here and go to great lengths to help everyone. But if you think you can threaten me, you are mistaken.

I do good work for you 4 times now, Everyone is happy. You made a mistake and must now pay for the 05 map and tuning. It is your choice on how you want to proceed. Pay for the map and service, I will tune the car and we can move forward, Or you can continue to threaten me, leave me a bad review and we will never do work together again.

Your move.

Clark

How much boost did the car make? The factory sensor reads up to 18.4 and wont read higher. I want to make sure its not over 20 to 21.

I just want to thanks Clark for helping me with 2 problem cars these past to weeks. Clark was not the tuner for them but still was there to lend a hand after these guys tuners said to them "sorry, your on your own". Clark did not ask for any money in return and he was helping past 11pm on Sunday...WOW, that all I have to say

In a great note, the guy are happy and want Clark to tune their cars so you got some work coming your way.

Thanks Clark for all you do

Over the years, I think I have had three different maps made for my car from Clark. My first was adding a 18g turbo at 5,000 miles; my last map, at 60k, was 18g, injectors, tbe, fmic, ewg, etc. Ive now passed 150,000 miles on my car running Clark's maps and never a problem. Thanks for making my daily drive fun and reliable

Have a Nice Day?

My recent exchange with Clark.

Long story short my stock injectors were too small, I had ID1000's and told Clark twice I was putting on 1000'cc injectors before I sent him a payment. I installed the larger injectors and sent him a payment. He then tells me they wont work. At this point I'm really confused. I ask for a refund as I've found somewhere else to get a break in tune. He refuses to refund me when no map has been exchanged and one hasn't been made to my knowledge. I tell him I've opened a dispute and he says he will email me a 1000cc injector map that I ordered which he already stated wont work.

I asked him why in our email exchanges why he didn't tell me the 1000's wouldn't work, I got no response. I told him twice what I was putting on and only after payment he told me they wouldn't work, I feel like I got robbed.

Hi Clark,

I am in need of a map for my hybrid that I just put together. The car is a 2003 wrx 5 speed. I have an access port v2. I need a map so that I can drive the car around safely until it's broken in. I was thinking something along the lines of waste gate pressure only?

I have kept the intake and fuel system stock for ease of e-tuning. The car also has a new maf sensor and front O2 sensor.

mod list
sti shortblock
asf chamber matched 2 liter heads with valve job, pocket port and sti cams.
grimmspeed 3 port boost controller
grimmspeed aos
grimmspeed up pipe
td04 turbo
catless tbe
perrin turbo inlet
cobb ap2

thanks
Mike

Hi Clark,
I can't run waste gate pressure with the 2.5 on the tiny stock td04-13t turbo? I dont plan on going over 4000rpm or 50% for 1000miles for break in. I've got a walbro 255 and 1000 cc ID injectors, I was waiting to put those on when I upgraded my turbo and got a pro tune. I can put them on if need be.

thanks

How do you propose we get 1000cc injectors to work on a 220whp setup? confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you looking for an E85 map? The list says 93. The 1000s are not going to work for that low hp setup man. That is why they make different sized injectors. Otherwise, They would just make 2000s.

For this setup, you need some STI 565s and even then, They would be overkill.

C
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Clark,

The plan is put on a larger turbo something 20g sized after the car is broken in. I read on the forums that the 1000 cc injectors scaled somewhat smaller, in the 900 something ish range. Also thought I read that people were getting 1000'cc injectors to idle on pump gas. I was thinking that I'd be up in the higher percentages of Injector duty cycles with the ID 725 injectors? I'm trying to get my hybrid broken in, just installed it. You said the factory injectors were too small for a break in tune with waste gate pressure.

What injectors do you suggest I run, I'll order them.

Sorry for the improper research and product choice,
Mike
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Clark,

I found someone who will give me a break in tune on the stock injectors. I'd appreciate it if you refunded me my payment.

thanks
Mike
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is no refund and its not possible to run the stock 420s man. The 2.5 needs more fuel.

Clark,

I emailed you twice saying I was putting on 1000'cc injectors and you never said anything about it. Only after I had sent money you told me the 1000'cc wouldn't work. If you just told me then that the injectors wouldn't work before I sent you payment, that would have been fine. The exchange of emails is below. I don't want the map and I don't want a credit. I dont understand why you can't refund me my payment. I imagine you looked at the order I placed on your site and saw the injector conflict and it went no further than that. If there is something I'm missing please let me know. I've opened a dispute with my credit card company. I'm sorry.

Mike

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok. I will respond to the dispute. Its not my fault u have 420cc injectors. They wont support the 2.5 and u will probably damage the motor. I will send the last file u orderes for the 1000s.

Clark did another outstanding e-tune. This is my 2nd e-tune on my car. During the e-tune sessions and installed, I ran into some problems. Clark was very patient with me, as it took me 2 to 3 weeks to resolved all the problems. Overall, I am very happy where the car stands at. If I need another e-tune, I would go with him.

Default Clark Turner Tuned Stage 2 Map

Car: 2006 STI
Milage: 77,xxx miles
Mods: Cobb full turbo back exhaust, Pannel Fiter, Perrin Air Inlet, ACT street lite F.W and stage 2 Clutch.

First Impressions:
I contatcted Clark and ordered a stage 2 Map from him. With in a few hours a got a personal email w/ the new map and intstructions on how to install/log the map for tweaking.

Right off the bat the car felt really responsive, and the onset of boost was really smooth compaired to my old tune (the one that came on the car when i bought it)

I sent the map and 3 logs to Clark. I almost instantly got a email back from him saying I had a post maf leak, and the source was likely the turbo inlet. (this was before my Perrin inlet hose)

I did some poking around under the hood and discovered the air inlet was infact ripped. I ordered a new inlet right away and installed it the day I recieved it. New data logs were sent and to my surprise there was still a post MAF leak. I have then built a pressure tester and pressurized the system and discovered that there was 3 other leaks due to un tightened hose clamps. Fixed.

Sent off NEW, new logs and everything looked perfect according to Clark, He quickly adjusted the maps sent out a revised map and I loaded it up and went on with it.

MAKE SURE YOUR CAR IS IN TIP TOP CONDITION BEFORE GETTING A TUNE, FROM ANYONE OR EVEN A OTS MAP.

The cars performance is amazing. Compaired to a OTS map a custom E-tune is the way to go. Clark will tailor your requirments to the best of his ability and your supporting mods.

Power was very smooth, and felt very strong. My throttle response was night and day, and after a 3500 mile road trip I averaged an amazing 30MPG!

Needless to say Clark turner you are now my tuner. I thank you for the countless emails back an forth, and for putting up with all my questions and concerns

I recomend a Clark Turner Map to any one I cross paths with and I stand by your tuning abilites to the enth degree

Thanks
-Justin

Just finished up my stage 2 tune from Clark. I made 289 whp with just a gs ebcs, gs x pipe, cobb sf intake, fuel pump, and tbe. Although it was 108* outside it the just pulled and even on the top end cause we all know how the vfs die at around 5k.

I highly recommend Clark!

The car also has a new maf sensor and front O2 sensor.

mod list
sti shortblock
asf chamber matched 2 liter heads with valve job, pocket port and sti cams.
grimmspeed 3 port boost controller
grimmspeed aos
grimmspeed up pipe
td04 turbo
catless tbe
perrin turbo inlet
cobb ap2

thanks
Mike

Its not possible without larger injectors. The stock ones wont work with the 2.5. Sorry, There is just not enough fuel.

Hi Clark,
I can't run waste gate pressure with the 2.5 on the tiny stock td04-13t turbo? I dont plan on going over 4000rpm or 50% for 1000miles for break in. I've got a walbro 255 and 1000 cc ID injectors, I was waiting to put those on when I upgraded my turbo and got a pro tune. I can put them on if need be.

thanks
Mike

How do you propose we get 1000cc injectors to work on a 220whp setup? confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you looking for an E85 map? The list says 93. The 1000s are not going to work for that low hp setup man. That is why they make different sized injectors. Otherwise, They would just make 2000s.

For this setup, you need some STI 565s and even then, They would be overkill.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Clark,

The plan is put on a larger turbo something 20g sized after the car is broken in. I read on the forums that the 1000 cc injectors scaled somewhat smaller, in the 900 something ish range. Also thought I read that people were getting 1000'cc injectors to idle on pump gas. I was thinking that I'd be up in the higher percentages of Injector duty cycles with the ID 725 injectors? I'm trying to get my hybrid broken in, just installed it. You said the factory injectors were too small for a break in tune with waste gate pressure.

What injectors do you suggest I run, I'll order them.

Sorry for the improper research and product choice,
Mike
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Clark,

I found someone who will give me a break in tune on the stock injectors. I'd appreciate it if you refunded me my payment.

thanks
Mike
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is no refund and its not possible to run the stock 420s man. The 2.5 needs more fuel.

There are no refunds mike. So decide what map you want from me and I will send it man. Otherwise, By this afternoon, i will send the map for the 1000s which is the last map you ordered. Or I can hold the credit as long as you keep the paypal reciept and emails

I'm sorry.

Ok. I will respond to the dispute. Its not my fault u have 420cc injectors. They wont support the 2.5 and u will probably damage the motor. I will send the last file u orderes for the 1000s.

Here are the maps and instructions. The first map is for stg2 and th 2.5 motor, But I really feel strongly against you running those 420s with the 2.5. Even at 8 psi there is no where near enough fuel. The second map is for the ID1000s like you requested. I tried to get this out earlier but it is my birthday today and I was busy.

You skipped some emails. You got two maps from me and your money back. What else do you want man? Its not my fault you had a turbo setup and wanted to run STOCK injectors! Your mad at me cause I would not tune stock injectors on the car? Makes no sense. Everyone is happy with me and you just cant be pleased I guess. I broke down and sent a map for it to make you happy even after I strong felt I should not.
