help 05 sti wiring 04 sti ecu

i dont know what else im missing , i did the pinout and still there is no comunicasion with the ecu , got a difren ecu and notting im using 04 key 04 computer 05 wiring harnes in a fully swaped gc8, there is no sing of life in the ecu im i missing someting?

Did you delete all the 05 immobilizer stuff?

Do I need a matching key , immobilizer,integraded unit if im using a 04 Sti ecu in a 05 wiring harnes ? Help please

If you're using an 05 STi harness, you need the corresponding immobilizer, ignition and key and integrated unit, I think that's it.

thx for responding , i have an 04 ecu in the car righ now and changed the 6 pins to make it work with the 05 harnes and is not responding , i did try 2 04 sti ecu and got the same result i wonder if im missing someting or just need to stick with the 05 stuf ,had this happened to anyone before ?thx again
